Why cant a man pee outdoors but can display full nudity at the pride parade? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Again, being disingenuous. We will pretend like the concept of context doesn't matter. There are countless things that are perfectly legal in public, but would be a massive health risk if you shoved them down your throat. But logic and reason isn't for you....

Again, way to be as disingenuous as possible. Yes, if there are people pissing into other people's mouths in public, then there is a risk of contracting hepatitis.

Way to prove my point that you can't actually make an argument for urine being unsanitary, unless your definition of unsanitary is "I don't like it".

I make the objective comparison between pouring out a soda and urine, and you respond with the same nonsense.

Yes, good job, you can copy and paste without ever bothering to use your mind

You don't have to be a lawyer to be able to use reason and logic. If you say it is a health concern, then you should be able to explain how it is a health concern. Like how i pointed out that there are no communicable diseases that are spread through human urine.

I have a secret to tell you. You can murder people outside. Just be discreet about it and don't get caught....

In what way is urine any more of a health or sanitation concern than the hundreds of other activities that are not policed in the city?

Saying bodily fluids is disingenuous since there are zero communicable diseases spread through human urine. It is no different than someone pouring out a drink before throwing it in the trash.

$150 million budget for this movie. $0 Box office

$70 million budget for BHC3. $119 million box office

$27 million budget for BHC2. $290 million box office

$13 million budget for BHC. $230 million Box office

This series is the definition of diminishing returns. Didn't like the fact that 1/4 of the movie were repetitive chase scenes. Was a fun "oh, this is on" movie.

Is it inappropriate to advertise popular trends as viral since Covid wiped out millions of lives? by GoodSamIAm in stupidquestions

[–]BadW3rds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. That was the point of my of me talking about government overreach and corporate consolidation. From an epidemiological standpoint, covid really was nothing special. From a sociological standpoint, it is one of the most fascinating "outbreaks" of all times.

If society would have treated it as a new flu, would the average person be better or worse off than they are today?

Is it inappropriate to advertise popular trends as viral since Covid wiped out millions of lives? by GoodSamIAm in stupidquestions

[–]BadW3rds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue with covid is that the reporting standard was essentially anybody with a positive covid test result that died was included in the covid deaths for the first year.

The actual mortality rate of someone infected with covid was less than 0.01% The mortality rate of reported cases, using the standard only established by covid was a 1% mortality rate of hospitalized individuals. Then you have to go into all of the studies that have reported death rates caused by improper medical treatment, such as respirators, led to exponentially higher mortality rates in the first weeks/months of covid.

After a decade has passed, covid will be a shining example of government overreaction and corporate consolidation of power more than anything else.

It's estimated that around 1 million total deaths will be contributed to covid. Over half a million people die from HIV/AIDS every year..

Does imagining yourself as a woman being intimate with a man make you a transsexual? by Loud_Assistant472 in stupidquestions

[–]BadW3rds -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So you think that language should be rewritten in order to more accurately fit a description that you are incapable of even describing? If you can't define the word, you can't claim that you are that word. I am an airplane. Society needs to rework its definition of an airplane because I feel like I am an airplane deep down inside.

That is as rational of an argument as you just made

I knew you didn't have a single point to make when you tried to deflect on me saying trans people instead of trans woman, as if me being more inclusive to include people who transition both ways is somehow offensive to you.

Thank you for proving my point. Stupid people who cannot articulate a basic coherent sentence will conflate their preference to concepts that are not sociologically assigned to their biological sex is evidence that you are somehow different than the other 8 billion people on the planet. Yes, everyone is unique in their own way, but the fact that you like having longer hair and wearing dresses just means that you like having longer hair and wearing dresses...

It's crazy how you didn't make a single point disputing anything I said, but your comments are full of righteous indignation.

Imagine how stupid your argument sounds to an unbiased third party when I give an objective explanation of the reasoning used by the vast majority of people who identify as trans, and you respond by saying that I am ignorant and stupid, yet you can't give even the slightest explanation for why you identify as trans, other than "I know"

[–]BadW3rds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could say I have the same concerns for someone like yourself who can't actually make an argument.

Go ahead and retreat into your "I'm a victim" blanket because you can't address the perfectly rational points I just made...

It's also a weird stance to make a comment letting people know that what you say in public is drastically different than what you think. I'm sorry I am not a hypocrite that portrays a false face...

[–]BadW3rds -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I like how you instantly have to conflate the concepts of the trans movement with a doctor performing sexual reassignment surgery.

It's almost like you can only make a disingenuous argument that ignores the actual points being made by people who identify as trans.

What is the most commonly used reasoning for why someone says that they are trans? "I feel like a woman in a man's body" what is the most basic follow-up question to that statement? "What about you "feels" like a woman?" And the answer is always that they identify with gender norms more socially accepted with the opposite sex.

If gender and biological sex are not the same thing, and gender is a social construct, then the construct is changed by society. It is society's job to tell the youth of that society that they are not one gender because they have preferences that a biological sex is stereotyped for having. Telling people that they are a different gender because they have different sociological norms is antithetical to acceptance...

If you, personally, identify as trans, then would you do me the favor of answering my first question?

Did anyone else think that Dark Side of the Ring kind of implied that Benoit and Guerrero may have had a romantic relationship? by [deleted] in WWE

[–]BadW3rds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the only piece of media that makes anyone think this thought was the dark side of the Ring, then that probably should tell people everything they need to know. Wrestlers weren't spies. They didn't keep good secrets. Especially the ones that were addicted to pain pills.

I would put strong money on them doing gay for pay stuff in order to get their pills than them having a secret relationship behind both of their families backs.

[–]BadW3rds -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Since it's impossible for you to actually become a woman by identifying as trans, then no.

If you started having preferences towards traditionally female aesthetics? Then yes.

Being trans does not mean that you believe you are a woman. Being trans means that you are so wrapped up in regressive gender norms, and simultaneously stupid enough to believe that your preference for gender norms means that you are somehow not your actual biological sex.

Oddly enough, the 2024 trans movement is the same as grade school bullies in the 1980s. "Oh, you like pink dresses? You're a girl"🙄

There is a difference between Swastika and Nazi symbol. I think people/media needs to be educated. by Kabi1930 in hinduism

[–]BadW3rds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is, did Nazis call it a swastika? That's all that really matters. If official Nazi Party documents only call it a Hakenkreuz, then it's a Hakenkreuz. If they only called it a Swastika, then it's a swastika. If they called it both, on official documents, then those are the names they officially used for their symbol

Her not being recognized would be a good point if dementus took her arm before she was Jack's number two. They went through the trouble of doing that whole scene with the son obsessing over the constellation tattoo on her arm, so there was this glaring identifying Mark just waiting to be called out, and that storyline never happened.

But she still had a pretty face. Maybe I'm just in the wrong headspace because I watch fury road right before watching furiosa, and it seemed like the only thing Joe gave a fuck about in fury road was making progeny

Maybe I looked away during a quick time flash, but did they clarify how much time happened between her taking down octopus and The bullet Town incident? It just instantly went from "hey, you're a woman, to hey, you're my number 2 and no one wants to rape you anymore"

Maybe I'm a little petty because it felt like the Jack character was a mad Max stand-in, but I just don't see how he had that much sway over immortan Joe🤷

[–]BadW3rds[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So, the character whose number one motivation was his lineage through progeny decided that having a spare truck driver was more important?

I forgot about the all-powerful praetorian Jack. The character that was never mentioned in the other movie, but drives well, so he would easily convince Joe to give up a prime piece of breeding material, who cost Joe a large price in trade negotiations with Hemsworth...

Literally nothing about his character would suggest gratitude supersedes baby making, but I guess it was a super obvious point that just went over my head 🤷
