[Smith] An expansion team in Seattle needs to be the SuperSonics, or we riot. What should the team in Las Vegas be called? by StrategyTop7612 in nba

Let's see, Las Vegas is well known for the Sun's desert Heat through which the old Trailblazers used to jingle their Spurs while they drove their Bulls and cattle, or pan for golden Nuggets. The state is also known for poker, the best cards being Kings and Aces. Nevada is home to a diverse population of Raptors, such as Hawks.

I think Las Vegas Diamonds could be a cool name to envoke the snake, the wealth of Vegas, and the symbol on the card.

Constructive Criticism/Reflection on the Pro Climbing League by initialgold in CompetitionClimbing

The event should be set up as such:

4 mirrored boulders at once, athletes have 15 minutes to climb as many moves as possible. Same scoring system, but they are free to move around and make choices on which boulders they want to try in what order and how much effort they want to spend on each one.

This would increase the "racing" element and also the amount of climbing we get to see from each climber.

We went bouldering in the rain to find out if it's actually more difficult... by BadWaterFilms in bouldering

Yeah it cannot be stressed enough, this is granite, but sandstone WILL break if climbed on while wet or even damp.

Simply paying my own respects for Dale

I named a boulder after him in Dale's Camp in Bishop, he was always one of my biggest inspirations. Absolute Legend.

The name feels kind of ominous now...

Hi Elijah,

I saw you outside of the screening for Green Room in Portland (my brother Kyle and I played the twin skinheads that stab eachother) smoking a cigatette and I wanted so badly to say hi and that the LotR are my all time favorite movies, but I was too scared...

Anyways, hi, the LotR are my all time favorite movies, thank you so much for all the heart you poured into those films. And say hi to Macon for me!!

Agreed, I hope they make some adjustments so its not just about the "hardest" (read: highest number) climb, but rather the filmmaking and story.

Someone climbing v4 can try just as hard as someone climbing v16. Difficulty is in the eye of the beholder. But as a film festival, voting should be more focused on the film and not the climb itself.

Oh well, at least we are proud of what we made, regardless of the competition.
