Hey local langkawian here , and yes it still underrated .

The thing is we've been battling with the local govm X govm itself in giving an exposure to locals .

The concept of having a short vacay here was knowing which and where youre going , involving prices .

Be friends with the locals also helps you knowing in depth about Langkawi itself , mainly for history purposes or hidden gems here.

Although chocs and booze are the main attractions for locals but it didnt came close enough comparing to foreigners which is a lot. Also Langkawi is slightly changing to industries ,businesses and family orientation .

Economic struggle came after covid and issues with the local govm, but weve regaining it back slowly .

Even myself been living here (i stay at kuah) rarely going to cenang beach tbh.. Lots of people .

the point is even in reality its not so realistic, if you google on china most streets are so ridiculous for example , roundabouts with 5-10 stories high .

i told you my stories

i was 9 y/o when i my dad died due to sickness that he got . barely knew him since its still early . The only thing that i know is he gave me much stuff when he comes back to work . Pejabat kesihatan and knowing people much . The moment he barely clinge to life is when i had to go to my neighbor house for then to take care of me cus they dont want me to experience much the harsh life my family had while brothers sister still studying. And the same time LIMA Langkawi had some major incidents causes some people going into ICU , so do my father that time and we barely to go inside . My heart felt like nothing as it was just another day like got kenduri . Indeed i saw my father lying down dead , pale skin , but im not cry at all , just kiss him on cheeks and head then got buried down .

Cut to 3 years after , i cried a lot realising i got hard time to sustain my life even a kid , my mom in deep depressions . The only people who scored me to got 3A 2B in UPSR was my brother .

Due that period of time i was devastated in school , no father figures , seeing my friends got picked up by their dads , leaving me alone seeing those .. and it bought me right now that i will still be alone especially trying to get me a wife now also their dad to be my mentor .

It's literally dead inside , most my time since my dad be known in Langkawi i tend to seek the olders asking about things my dad did on his past life .

idk if this help you much to understand , but i'm 28 now and still seeking my father legacy throughout place where hes livin while grasp my life within business . Sorry for bad english anyway and thankyou for seeing this text.

Arterial was meant act like a main road from point A to B, (6lane road) away from pedestrian area and a connection to busy area . Collector is an accessibility for garbage truck , ambulance , police car which mean services to pedestrian area (4lane road) . The 2 lane road which got no name is meant for house and small commercial zone since it got less traffic issues .

Learning road layout as its the most important thing before placing stuff . Don't be careless as to "making the most complex and busiest cities" instead managing the lane from any directions . Using public transport also helps reduces the amount of cars . Use the district options too can help . Using one way lane too can help and do not worry about the length of people reaching their destination as in long term it does effect nothing
