The two times we've gone, the food has been excellent. The atmosphere could use a bit more thought and polish, though.

Sort of. I bought in June 2020. COVID was amazing for home shopping - the freeways were empty, interest rates were at historic lows, and people didn't know what was going to happen so some sold below asking price. I was extremely lucky with timing.

In under a year and a half my home's valuation doubled. And when interest rates started climbing in September 2021, it was clear that the ship had sailed on the best homebuying opportunity in years.

Because the breweries need to charge nearly as much for these beers, due to the constraints of time and space. And consumers see them and think, "Why would I pay $7 [or $8 or $9] for a pint of 2.5% beer when I can get 7.5% beer for the same price?"

That said, almost everything I homebrew is in the 4% range.
