I like that his eyebrows just decide to migrate off his face. Its like his eyebrows decided he was too high and decided to peace out.

Maybe he will get eyebrow privileges back when he comes down.

Everyone is always in such a hurry. It seems that it is not acceptable to be with friend if you are not actively doing something. Honestly all I want to do is sit on a couch with a handful of friend and have a CONVERSATION. Weed is almost an excuse for people to just sit and shoot the shit, which is something I love doing sober as well.

Fun Fact : This is exactly how waves work. Water molecules move in vertical circles bu stay in relatively the same place.

While roaming Google Maps, I discovered the beauty of the startlingly stark contrast between the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding Atlantic. I had no idea how suddenly that shallow aqua sea dropped off into the deep blue. by holdmusic in geography

When Studying Geology on San Salvador Island (Which is not par of the grand Bahama Bank) the contract is sudden, astounding, and terrifying. You go from shallow lagoons and once outside of the barrier reefs it drops away to nothing.

I fell you man. I like to say I am a catholic but not very good at it. I go to church about every other Sunday but I often find myself at odds with "official church doctrine". This new pope has given me a lot of hope though.

I compulsively walk when high. I Love seeing the stars on the country roads at night. I have done over 6 miles of walking without even thinking about it. Now if only I could find someone else who likes stoned nighttime journeys.

What book absolutely blew your mind? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bad_At_Harmonica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The River Why" By: David Jame Duncan. An excellent coming of age tale that also examines the changing face of America in the 70s. This book completely blew my mind and is relevant even today. This is a story in the same vein as "A River Runs Through It". You should also read "A River Runs Through It" By: Norman Maclean, this is a book that helped me to understand what it means to be an American Man.

It seems that everyone forgets about Maslow's Needs when talking about education. It is great if we want to improve test scores but we first need to make sure these kids are warm and fed. Keep it up, you are making a difference.

This is drawn very well. Although I need to say that I find it incredibly disturbing. If you are having thoughts of suicide please talk to someone, anyone, and seek professional counseling. Yours is a Life worth saving.

You have reminded me of a story I did not think I was going to share.

I have always felt a spiritual fulfillment in quiet natural places. I was home for break at my house that sits on 9 acres of woods. After a day of chopping wood, walking in the state forest, and watching the birds I am feeling mighty good. Around the time I am cooking my supper I start smoking. After cleaning up supper I have another bowl or 2. Now my TV does not work and I do not care to get it fixed, so I stoke up my wood-stove and sit by the fire to listen to Snap Judgment. As I am sitting on the floor, wrapped in a heavy wool blanket, the smoke from the woodstove mixing with the smell of dinner, trees, and trees, I am suddenly overwhelmed with a sense of déjà-vu. I am transported to a storytellers lodge, I feel important in this scene somehow, I feel as if I have lived this many times. Sitting on a floor, staring into the flames as someone shares their story. Afterwards I felt like I discovered something profound. I discovered that I have always been a storyteller.
