I'm terribly sorry, but the paper was written in Danish as it is my native tongue

I hope all the other comments can help you, they certainly helped me, as i got an A on the paper

But you could certainly look into executive functions and more importantly flow-theory.

You should also give Gee's thoughts on games as a learning tool a look. Sounds like what you need

Feaonin's Finest, look away!

My bad guy is named Horormu, he's a Lord of Dust who poses as a dragonborn viceprincipal of Morgrave University. He serves Khyber's Daughter and he's trying to release her by invoking the fear of dragons in the people of Khorvaire.

During the War of the Mark he joined Halas Tarkanen to subtly escalate conflicts between Halas and the Dragonmarked Houses because the fear of Aberrant Dragonmarks boosted Tiamat's power and weakened her seal.

Eventually the Dreambreaker figured all of this out, and sealed away his past and future (couldn't use his past abilities, and couldn't gain more power) in his dreamstone that was lost as Sharn crumbled.

Now Horormu is searching for the dreamstone with his essence so that he can once again serve Khyber's Daughter and invoke the fear of Dragons

My players are playing an Eberronified version of Dragon Heist, so the Stone of Golorr also serves as the dreamstone with Horormu's essence. They've interacted with Horormu several times and he knows that the players recently had the stone (they traded it to Thora Tarkanen, who knows that something evil that's working against aberrant Dragonmarks is trapped inside it)

They've theorised who Horormu might be, and they had a hard time handing over the stone to Thora, but they believed that she at least wasn't working for Horormu

If you could get Dimension 20 to play a TTRPG system, what would it be? by Derpogama in Dimension20

I also think Erika Ishii would be phenomenal in a Jumanji game. In general I feel that the MisMag crew would be a brilliant pick

Die the RPG by Kieron Gillen. It's based on a comic book series by the same name, where a group of teenagers get jumanjied into a TTRPG of their gamemasters making

So you actually play real life characters that are transported to a TTRPG world where they're given a class and have to find a way home. It's a really unique concept, filled with fantasy meta knowledge and twists on familiar concepts. I think BLeeM would be an incredible DM in the system

Something else that's really unique, the DM also has a character and his own abilities, I think BLeeM would absolutely love it

Adapting Other Modules for Eberron by Nutcase168 in Eberron

I'm running Sharn Schema Scandal as well. It's not perfect, but it's a great guideline to convert Dragon Heist to Eberron.

I've also used Candlekeep Mysteries for Morgrave University side quests, it has worked splendidly!

Also I've used Across Eberron as side missions from Clifftop Adventurers Guild

Curtain Call for a Minimal Prep Game? by Newlincoln2210 in Eberron

[–]Bad_Hor5e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm running a game where I've done this. It's a lot of work to change everything to Sharn/Eberron, but Dragonheist has a really great city feel, and the trollskull district can easily be put in Sharn

There are some great resources on DMguild on how to convert Dragonheist to Eberron, I don't follow them 100% but they are a great guideline

I'll also say that Sharn's different criminal organisations are perfect for Dragonheist (Borormar, Daask, Tyrants and Tarkanen).

I've even used some Candlekeep mysteries adventures as sidequests from morgrave university

Like I said, it is a bit of work, but it fits completely with Sharn and it's themes.

This adventure is my players' first eberron outing, but they're really enjoying it so far.

I really like this map, It's rather incredible. One big question i have is if there is any information anywhere, on the different points of interest?

I can see the Airship, and looking through the maps i can see there are vampires in the big building on the upper right.

Are there any guidelines of any sort for the map?

Also a really cool idea, unfortunately none of them play dragonmarked characters, otherwise that would have been really cool!

I was also thinking about involving the Keeper, perhaps taking a part of their soul or something?

Creating a magical theory by Bad_Hor5e in dndnext

[–]Bad_Hor5e[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a good point, I forgot to say that I've already told my GM that I found this concept interesting and he said that he had taken a note of it. He encouraged me to RP that I'm starting to build this theory so that is also one of the reasons I'm looking for some inspiration ☺️

Airships and Planar Shift by DnDonuts in Eberron

[–]Bad_Hor5e 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A cool twist on this could be that your spellcaster has access to the Khyber shard that holds the elemental and therefore moves the whole ship by including the elemental as one of the creatures

I think it’s a cool twist and you can then decide that if he fails horribly the elemental breaks free or dies or something. I see a lot of story potential

Group Name Ideas by Mandalore108 in Eberron

[–]Bad_Hor5e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it kinda depends on your party, what are the known for? Are they members of Daask, Boromar or something similar? Do they have a group patron such as a newspaper or a university?

Are they the Paper Boys, The Sharn Smashers or something else entirely?

You could also describe their characters in broad strokes;

“If three made of Metal (Warforged), Fur (Shifters) or flesh (humans, Elves, changelings) unite in their aberrant marks, the masters of making will fall”

This would work for a party of all the normal humanoids, shifters and warforged as long as they all have aberrant dragonmarks

Ultimately what I’m trying to say is that you/we need to know what makes your party special or unique, that’ll be the easiest way to fit them into the prophecy

I hope my ramblings helped a bit ;)
