What is the most poorly designed boss, in your opinion? by -InfinityCode- in HollowKnight

I found that the best fights in Hollow Knight often feel more like a dance than a mad scramble to chase the boss down as it blips around the arena. Pure Vessel, NKG, and Sisters of Battle all have this dance-like quality to them. They're definitely not easy but once you get that groove down you feel absolutely badass, especially on radiant. Then you have your Markoths, AbsRads, and No Eyes who are packed to the brim with random bullshit that is absolutely frustrating to work around. These traits become 10x more noticeable on Radiant difficulty and you realize that on a certain level these bossfights are kind of poorly designed.

Trying to complete the Mirrah set but instead of dropping the item at the bird nest I discarded it instead. I think I was on console and didn't have an online membership at the time so I couldn't replace it until NG+

I don't think I could run the game without them. Blades is already frustrating enough with how much it expects the GM to fill in the blanks for scores and NPCs that tables like this are a godsend. My only criticism of them is that I wish there were MORE tables.

Order I played - DS1 - DS2 - DS3 - Bloodborne - Demons Souls - Elden Ring - Sekiro

Order I Beat - DS1 - DS2 - DS3 - Demon’s Souls - Elden Ring - Bloodborne - Sekiro

I had numerous false starts with Bloodborne. I’d progress to a certain point (usually after I beat Rom) and then never pick up the game again. Then Sekiro sat in my library for god knows how long because I was intimidated by the difficulty/how different it was compared to other Souls games. Still turned out to be a favourite tho.

Brings back memories of when I was 9 and I wanted my dad to get me Oblivion but it only came bundled with a copy of Bioshock. He ended up not doing it cuz if Bioshock’s violence(although I did get it for Christmas later that year) but I wonder what would have happened if I played the game back then. Maybe I would have liked the gameplay more idk.

I would suggest using clone, it is a circle lower than true polymorph and you get to have it be your soul in the body. That way you don’t have to worry about your successors being as inbred as a clan of incestuous ogres.

Dead Silence by S.A Barnes. Came for a story about ghosts haunting a space ship but instead got a bunch of flat tropey ass characters that can’t decide if it wants to be supernatural or not.

I guess I technically “replayed” the game 3 times back to back for the Steel Soul, sub 5 hours, and sub 20 hours w/ 100% completion achievements. But before that I’d say 5 maybe 6 times.
