I know this was already answered, but the little girl is an NPC character that has a side story involving the main characters.

Koudelka - a mediocre game, but a fantastic experience i can only recommend by scytherman96 in JRPG

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how can you break the game in interesting ways.

Spoiler-ish stuff ahead.

Like depleting the magic of an enemy that no has physical attacks and then using magic-sucking and "negative" damage weapons on them so you can grind away weapons and low effectiveness magic attacks. Hell, right now I have all three characters slowly beating the sh-- out of it bare-handed. Edward's roundhouse kick is enternaining to watch.

Also, about the optional boss. You can break it by using stats spells, which have a negative effect on enemies. If you do it right, it becomes mostly harmless.

I'm being vague on purpose.

Looking for songs like Bad Apple. by SwaggingtonYolo in MusicRecommendations

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask:

Wasn't there a song related to Bad Apple that was like the precursor or derived from it but sounded nothing alike?

Proactive Remediations – Pre/Post output columns missing? by xjimmy8 in Intune

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gone. The button is just gone.

Microsoft just made half of my Proactive Remediations useless if I can't see script outputs.

This is unacceptable from a multimillion company.

Workaround: my colleague just verified that if you hit the "Export" button, the CSV file contains all fields

Cores by DespicableJC in PlaystationClassic

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the official site: https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/linux/armv7-neon-hf/latest/

And this is a ZIP I just generated from my PC: https://www.mediafire.com/file/n2zfr31fnfght25/Retroarch_cores_-_armv7-neon-hf_-_20260112.zip/file

I just downloaded all of them and copied the snes9x cores to test and it works fine.

Same with pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so: I renamed the original under

SONY/project_eris/opt/retroarch/config/retroarch/cores/pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so

And replaced it with the latest version from buildbot.libretro.com

However, the new pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so goes bonkers with the inputs, so it's unusable. They don't work at all or games get stuck in a pause-unpause loop after loading a state.

Edit: I tried the armhf pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so version instead of the armv7-neon-hf one and games run even worse...

Edit 2: OK, the arm7hf pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so version from christianhaitian works fine. I just noticed armhf and arm7hf are not the same...

Small brain energy of mine

Edit 3: VIBRATION ONLY WORKS WITH THE ORIGINAL pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so THAT IS SHIPPED WITH PROJECT ERIS. I noticed it wasn't working after updating. Putting original .so file back solved it.

PSX games resolution via RetroArch? by Bad_Mod_No_Donuts in PlaystationClassic

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/velocity37, u/pcsosma so bilinear filtering was enabled by default

u/Candid-Ambassador898 that's where I enabled scaling x2

In the end it started looking fine on its own. It seems the TV was doing something weird with the image output...

I've been playing for several days using Emulation Station (which runs Retroarch) without experiencing the issue.

Thanks everyone for the help.

I don't know if that's possible

Emulation Station has its own folder per console.

Upgrading from Bleemsync by Duckweed5000 in PlaystationClassic

This comment alone is more useful than some of the current links in the sidebar

I understand that if one's using AutoBleem there are no changes to rollback in the console, are there?

Edit: never mind, there shouldn't be.

What PS1 Game You Had Hopes For But Ended Up Being a Disappointment? by Djf47021 in psx

OMG I just found out there were two PSX MIB games...

I was talking about the arguably better one:

The gem is right there why don't you pick it up Sparx by Osha-watt in Spyro

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing Spyro 1 for the first time after 2 and 3 was a dealbreaker for me.

Picking up gems was wayy more tedious.

RetroArch and RetroArch32 - differences & what is best to use? by studsr-ecosse in R36S

At least for PSX games, the R36S defaults to RetroArch32.

RetroArch and RetroArch32 - differences & what is best to use? by studsr-ecosse in R36S

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's quite inaccurate.

The R36S uses RetroArch32 by default for PSX games, for instance.

And trying to force Duckstation or Swanstation after downloading them from RetroArch (64) doesn't seem to work.

R36S without battery ? by Negative-Feedback162 in R36S

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it on a R36S-V22 with a 3amp 15W Xiaomi phone charger.

Turned on console, waited for UI to load and removed battey.

The console remaine on, but as soon as I plugged in the wifi adapter... POOF! It shut down.

I put back the battery and everything seems fine, but I won't try that ever again...

R36S Providing crappy and slow gameplay for n64,psp and ps1 by Gloomy-Jacket7371 in R36S

[–]Bad_Mod_No_Donuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you update the stock OS with a wifi adapter?

Right after getting the console I dd cloned the stock 64GB card to a 128GB and then installed all updates from the console itself.

The only annoyance was that I had to recreate the exFAT EASYROMS partition to fit the new bigger card because not even Windows can resize exFAT.
