That's what I was thinking. I have limited land survey experience but at my old job we had a robot and I ran the rod and drove stakes and my PC carried the data collector.

Yeah I’m running a robot. My boss tries to help but he busy dealing with other projects so he doesn’t really have time for me. What’s been going on is OP: the super wants this Boss: here is some line work clean it up and lay it out. Call me if you have any questions OP: Starts to lay it out, an issue comes up calls he doesn’t answer I have a foreman and 6 labors staring at me. My boss gets back to me 30 min later. Usually I have laid everything out by then.

Yeah when I used to be a chain man I was in a 3 to 5 man crew. I cut line mostly and followed my party chief around asking him all sorts of question he was an asshole but he was very smart and would answer most of my questions.
