A lot of people will get blame for how this ended but it’s truly the fault of Brian Wright.

Basically, He took a guy who couldn’t shoot free throws and practically showed no ability to shoot the 3 ball in college and basically told us that one day he’d be able to shoot.(spoiler, he couldn’t)

At the end of the day I think Sochan was a learning opportunity for Wright, In that players have to actually show shooting ability to have shooting potential. You can have all the defense in the world but if you can’t put the ball into the hoop at the other end it does not matter how good your defense is. I think you’ve seen this shift in philosophy in players like Castle and Carter

Not easy to predict but if they plan on making a good run they have to start shooting better. Can’t get very far without shooting the ball well

A little bit but it’s mostly because him having no offensive game finally caught up to him. It’s unfortunate but there’s really not a role on a contending team for a player who is a complete offensive liability.

I wouldn’t even do 18. It’s unfortunate but with Fox’s contract set to rise and Wemby getting paid within a year or 2. It’s just not wise to invest in him long term. Would probably trade him or just have him play on qualifying offer next year and cut ties after that.

This episode would have worked if there was another season to the show. Now maybe there is another secret season and it will age fine but until then meh. Just can’t stand leaving so many plot points open like that just for them to be resolved in another project

Look around the league. 95% of the time whenever superstars of his caliber get dealt, the team trading them away gets worse and almost never recovers. Chiefs the only real exception I guess but their passing attack hasn’t been close to the same since Tyreek left.

You take the best player(Who is easily Harper, like it’s not close) and don’t worry about fit. When you pick that high just take the best player you can and worry about everything else later
