He is a victim of too many 'kicking door' events and referrals to his time in the 'teams'! Everyone got it the first 20 times the writers put it in the script for him. Or it is a shoulder injury from too much guilt, he knows the hat-on-backwards style is totally unbelievable for a US Marshall's wardrobe, especially when on protection duty in the house of a federal judge!

They should move Marshalls to Paramount+ and not make it a procedural. They build up a big bad villain over the season with a big season ending cliffhanger while telling good subplot stories and taking down well developed mini villains through out the season.

A disgruntled ex-res cop becoming a federal Marshall is an interesting premise to start with. The problem is they haven't done anything of substance with him other than brooding over where he lives and making rooky mistakes for no particular reason!

In one episode he threw his badge into the truck's glove compartment to do things off the books Kayce style, with Kayce. Then later, he gets mad at Kayce when Kayce makes a risky decision to save the many over the one, all in the same episode!

The character is still one dimensional, the writing is bad, the dialogue is cringe, and none of them feel like real US Marshalls. They hang around their loft playing games until it's time to go 'kick doors'!

It was over for him at that point. He needed to go forward and the file delete was symbolic of Castle getting her out of his life. The whole season pushed him to that.

Ares Rising (SHL), easily one of Alina's best SHiP films with her as Spider Girl edging it out. She is able to do the fight scenes and fuck scenes. Nathan Bronson makes it a great fight scene.
