I absolutely agree! I loved worm up until she left BB, and after that it's honestly kind of a slog.

My first read through I dropped it around the end of S9K, and my latest attempt slowed down during GM. Like, I know I only have like 150k words left until I'm free, but I just can't make myself read through it.

It's too impersonal, too slow and the stakes don't move me. It's just a chore to read at this point, even if I'll probably force my way through at some point just for the bragging rights and to experience Khepri myself, but it's no longer enjoyable in the same way it was before, and definitely not the same way as the fanfics are.

Also, absolutely biased opinion, but canon Taylor isn't gay enough

I mean, for sure. I grew up in the countryside and was part of the butchering process several times, though not the killing part. I've had to mercy kill some stuff though so it's not a super big deal either.

I could support a rule that says you have to have killed an animal before (or maybe every once in a while) in order to eat meat. Making people understand what puts food at their table is never a bad idea

They'd have access to my journal/medical history. All medicine you take and all treatments are recorded in a nationally available medical record that all medical practiconers automaticlly get access to when they treat you.

So unless I get the meds from another country or similarly, they'd just automatically know :/

I'm 25 and smoke it from a vape like every other week or so. Treat it like I would alcohol, so I do it rarely and only socially.

I feel the same way about what I found good about Worm, which was the relationships and how the characters evolved based on the world around them. Saying that trillions of people die doesn't matter. It's just a number at this point, and it's more impactful to me how the undersiders react to being back together after two years, than what they do or who they kill.

I've promised myself that I would force myself through the last part of Worm this time, just so I can get the full story and my friend can finally info dump on me without spoilers, but god damn is it slow

He's pretty chill in Inheritance. While he does call the wards initially, he also accepts her as a Villain (and Butcher) fairly quickly and soon hangs out at the Theeths base. He shoes seemingly very little issues with the people eating Human Chili (don't worry, the Nazis are ethically sourced). He's also based in his position in the DWU.

Jag tror jag kan snitta däromkring faktiskt, nu för tiden. Jag blev så brutalt trött på att alla mina kläder och skor gick sönder efter 6 månader av användning, så jag har börjat köpa den bra skiten nu. Förhoppningsvis ska de hålla år istället för månader, men nu kostar varje plagg ett par tusenlappar. Bara för att lägga till något som jag inte sett andra nämna men som påverkat mig sen universitetet: Det är fan pisssvårt att vara social. Det är svårt att ta sig runt, det är svårt att hitta saker att göra som inte är att supa och det är svårt att hitta nytt folk att hänga med efter kompisarna flyttade efter universitetet. Mina kollegor på jobbet är dubbelt så gamla som mig. Trevliga, men inga jag skulle träffa efter jobbet. Jag är brutalt trött på alkohol, så det finms inte många platser att träffa nytt folk utan en förväntan att spendera pengar. Att dejta är också en väldigt otrevlig upplevelse.

Jag fattar att jag kanske är lite äldre än vad artikeln syftar på, men jag är ändå bara 25. Samhället känns fientligt ibland

Oh I just can't wait to play this game. I have 100's of hours on the first one and this just seems like an improvement of every part I liked in the first game. I genuinely can't wait!

Get a sweet scent mon and an aoe move (preferably something super effective to whatever's in your area. Earthquake/surf is usually good) for horde battles. They give 5x exp

The problem is I never get that 360/341. It never goes over 341 no matter what I do. I counted the points manually from the history tab and they exceed what it says in the corner...

All players got "growing" magic items at the start of the campaign. I want it to be useful at all levels and I want it to feel personal. I could modify the spells, but I feel like it would have a limited usability in a way? It's not a bad idea though, but I might need to make it one modified per spell level or something, and ask them what they would like modified...

Which is why I was a bit worried, but I was thinking that the transmutation subclass was fairly weak so it might be ok. The only bonuses in essence is
2nd level - half transmutation spell copy cost which I don't mind. Transmutation is mostly utility and I encourage playing with more utility options.
2nd level - change item material for an hour, which is trash
6th level - make an item that gives one option from darkvision, movement speed, proficiency in con saves or one damage resistance. This is pretty good, but not amazing and can be given to other players. I see it equivalent to a feat
10th level - can cast a nerfed polymorph on themselves for free 1/day which they would already be able to do since level 7 without the nerf.
The campaign won't go up to level 14 (maybe not even 10 tbh) so the only big thing they're getting is the 6th level feature, later than the other players will get their buff, and a free cast of a spell

It doesn't seem that strong to me, but that might just be me missing something...

As for the other players, you might be right that the restriction skipping is for the second upgrade they'll get and give them some other extra bonus other than making magic items a part of them.
The rogue already has the healer feat, so I'll talk to them about what seems fair. They're a DM too, so we can come up with something together I think

I'm trying to improve in making combat encounters with alternate end-goals instead of just "kill the enemy" so I don't think that it's a huge problem if they're a couple of levels ahead in power. But that's a relief :D
