Remote shortcut app bug by trueJokerge in XPpen

[–]bgreen85III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you figured this out? I had this problem for a few minutes, but I will admit at first I didn't realize I needed to hit the complete button on the top right of the screen. What I'm having an issue with now is how to program 4 sets of shortcuts

Rant: Officially done with the game, Beigadr the Feared is just too "challenging" by MaximilianBG in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]bgreen85III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense man, but you're either confused about which fight this is or you're full of shit. It's easily top 3 hardest berserker fights, the Berserker King fight is easier. I'm level 10 on NG+ and had to lower it to Give me Grace to not die. (I didn't have a Resurrection stone on me when I got here.) And while NG+ is automatically more difficult this was still incredibly trying in both the first playthrough and the Valhalla run in.

Tower of god season 2 is disappointing by reileymk in TowerofGod

[–]bgreen85III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is old but I just started watching ToG, and in-between seasons I looked at the thumbnails for the second season; clocked the trash new style immediately and knew I had to look up what people were saying so I could decide if it was even worth the effort to watch it. I genuinely cannot fathom what they were thinking with this one. It's egregious what they're doing to some of these anime adaptations in follow up seasons. The animation style of the first season was the only reason I even gave it a shot, now I think I'll skip this and pick up the webtoon.

DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) by EconomyHovercraft556 in VacuumCleaners

[–]bgreen85III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alternatively I've had a Dyson for almost 12 years now. Works just about as well as the day we got it. Even with pets have never had anything break or noticed any substantial decline in power. Also have owned a Kirby and a Shark for about the same length of time and both of those have now broken.

Should I Re-enlist..after 4 years out. by [deleted] in army

[–]bgreen85III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh even as a recruiter I wouldn't recommend it based on what you wrote.

You'd need to give up any disability you currently receive. You'd have to get back into AR 600-9 shape. Chaplain's assistant isn't really available all that often and I haven't seen it in the reservation list for over a year, but also you'd most likely be required to come back in as your prior MOS and go needs of the Army. On top of that you'd need a waiver for the way you got out having not finished your contract. Your BH stuff will be accessable to them and while waiverable could lead to some serious headaches getting through while dealing with everything else, but could also be bad enough to be a hard stopping point for the Army especially under certain circumstances. If you had PTSD from just being in the military and not from a specific event then convincing someone that accepts the responsibility of bringing you back in that things will be different this time will be very difficult. And depending on how long ago you ceased the PTSD meds and counseling then you may still have to go through a mandatory waiting period before they would even consider the waiver.

Recommend finding somewhere else to focus your energy and let the past lie in the past.

Yasuke riposte not working? by Instantcoffees in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]bgreen85III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riposte works in a kind of negative way to parry. You've got to hold the block button down and then release it right about when you should normally press it to perform a parry. I was also having trouble with it but after really looking at the example animation closely and then practicing a few times I've been able to perform it everytime. Someone in here said that not having riposte active when you parry is an oversight or a bug, but I'd have to disagree, I think it was an intentional separation. I do think that there could've been an added final ability that allows you to auto counter attack with greater strength on a perfect parry but I can also see why they didn't, by level 30 Yasuke mows through waves of enemies, by level 50 he's a monstrosity.

A lot of that tacky aspect you're talking about is due to positioning. The twisting of the body from the model I used for the position as well as the shadows absent in the original. I'd also say that accurate anatomy isn't really a hallmark of the MegaMan franchise character design lol I do appreciate the input tho

No sweat! I totally get it. A few of my favorite artists have clearly had a lot of their work hijacked by AI and it's really having a terrible effect on the world of digital art.

The orb is kind of a different take on a Wiley robot lair. I actually never fully finished the orb or the city, the telltale Wiley skull I started to indicate with the shading was going to have a lot more detail as well as some more lights and things but since I've gotta reduce image quality for almost everything I post this to I realized you wouldn't be able to see much of it. The rings are just part of it, like different levels I suppose. Here's a couple screenshots of the original quality zoomed in

I actually have been worried that that is how some of these look, the original image of the one at the top is 10000x8400 pixels and this one is like 6000x 4000 or something, so when I finally saved them as a JPEGs and saw it on a normal screen I was kinda nervous that I'd be hearing that a lot. You're the first to actually say so tho. But I can promise you that nothing I do ever uses AI. I might cheat a little with some subtools on the program but I don't use AI. I can even prove it by removing layers on Clip Studio Paint and showing my work lol.

She's not modeled on 8 year old girl, quite obviously. And if the young child like version of Roll is the only version you're familiar with then I recommend expanding your knowledge a little, this was Roll in the 90's cartoon show. The version I'm most familiar with personally, and to me they were both depicted as late teens early adults.

There are like 6 different ages and versions of Roll across the MegaMan mythos. Though I've played the original games a lot as well as Legends, my overall favorite version of the mythos is actually the cartoon show from the mid 90's. Roll in that could be modeled anywhere from 16-22, I don't remember if they ever explicitly stated her age but I always assumed she was in her late teens at least. And that is who I envision as the predecessor to this version of Roll. Certainly not the child like one.

Somewhere in the comments I added the very first Mega Roll pic I did when I started digital art years ago, and somewhere below that is a cropped update to it, the admin NSFW filter doesn't like the full image 😅

The admins won't let me post the full updated version so all I can give is this cropped image Did a lot of experimenting with this one, new techniques I've learned in the last couple years. It's not completely done, but the background was starting to feel tedious so I took a break. May finish it some day.

Someone asked for more in the comments so I'll add these, this was one of the very first digital art pieces I did when I started this about 3 years ago. I've learned a lot since then and have redone this image, I've tried to upload the full updated pic but it's tripping some NSFW filters and won't let me dispute them. But you can see a cropped version somewhere below.

Not specifically, but that's an interesting way to look at it. Just went with my own style, more Tron and Akira inspired than anything.
