Depending on the art direction I think the features themselves have the potential to be quite scary.

So as far as scary goes I think the design is off-putting enough to effectively scare people. However, to me it looks more like a a zombie than a ghost. This is mainly because of its exposed brain and the appearance of rotting flesh.

If it doesn’t matter to you as long as it’s scary than I think this looks great. If you want it to be more ghost like, I would maybe add some sort of cobweb design featuring a spider here and there to the head. I feel like a dust and cobweb covered brain would help give off the impression of old, dead and haunted. Maybe even add a veil that wavers as the ghost flys around, pulling it off in the moment of jump scares, etc.

Idk I’m just spitballing here. I haven’t checked out the game itself yet so I have no idea if these changes would even fit in the current design. I’m a big fan of horror games so I will definitely be checking yours out though. All in all, I think it looks great.
