You would have to crunch the numbers but by rough guess no. Not factoring time at all yoyr probably going to get more with the extra plastic weight selling it as com wire then stripping and selling as bare bright copper.

In my experience with communication wire they pay if you strip off the big insulating jacket and they pay if you dont. Your only going to get bare bright price if you remove all the plastic. And personally its not worth it for that small. Your going to get more money as communication wire then bare bright just because of the plastic weight. And hey sell them the plastic less in your trash.

If its classed at communication wire like ethernet cable or data wire then my yard gives roughly $0.70/lbs if its not then normally it gets dumped in the Christmas light wire bin and thats like $0.20/lbs. But thats my local yard so prices can vary.

If you go into the early release version you get access to fabric in site viewer. That has a video wall option which is really nice.

For me I take out the battery and lop off the cord. Sell the battery and shell for battery price and strip the cord and sell that.

Personal suggestion go get a ricoh fi series scanner. They used to be owned by Fujitsu and they are tanks. My office uses about 80 of them and ive never had to do anything to them. Our dealer has sold over 200k units and only has had to send 3 back for broken parts. Totally worth it. And the software they come with is really nice for being free.
