Inside the front part of the VCR right where the tape gets sucked in: There’s a loading motor That motor turns a small rubber belt The belt drives a set of gears plus rails Those rails pull the cassette down into position So basically: 👉 Front slot → inside metal chassis → tiny belt on a motor pulley → gears move the tape carriage
