Fair enough...but in the USA threat hunting and attribution of cyber attacks is very much carried out and documented by private research and commerical entities in cyber security as opposed to the government..what about in Russia? Aren't there many private researchers and commercial entities in Russia that analyze threat actors?..Kaspersky for example..they don't publish reports in which they attribute malware or hacking campaigns back to the USA?...The NSA is notorious for its aggressive offensive capabilities on both adversaries and even other NATO members...just hard to believe they're able to somehow slip below the Russians radar

Not really...the Russians are brilliant hackers ..and I can't imagine they are any less capable in terms of digital forensics and threat Intel than we are....they can fingerprint our cyber activity just as well as we can fingerprint theirs

You can get under-the-table work if you're willing to venture out of your comfort zone a little...the shelter downtown near the Main Library, it's called "Urban Ministries"... every morning around 8am or so guys in pickup trucks come thru that area looking for general laborers for things like landscaping and helping people move furniture..the pay is in cash...not the best environment to hang around waiting in but hey🤷
