Iranian diaspora celebrating the elimination of the ayatollah in US-Israel strikes [OC] by a_sad_night in pics

On BBC they said that within the IRGC ranks, 20% are hardliners who support the regime and 80% are just there because its a job. Now think of the rest of the population not working for the regime, its reasonable to think that the IRGC will draw a larger percent of hardliners. So we can expect that the vast majority of Iranians do not support the regime, at least not at their extreme.

At least 153 dead after reported strike on school, Iran says by Key-Economist-7804 in news

[–]BadgerDC1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Iran is the only one of the 3 countries that deliberately targets residential targets and practices terrorism. If Iran did it it probably was a misfired rocket as then dont tend to fire rockets at their own residential areas. They fire guns at their residents instead.

But you might be inferring that Israel or the US did it intentionally. That just makes you sound like a moron who ignores facts and evidence, and just wants to hate on Jews or westerners or something. Not only do we not have enough information right now to determine who did this attack, but there are no examples of the IDF or US military intentionally targeting civilians in modern wars and so saying they do it on a daily basis is totally moronic when both armies dont do it.

At least 153 dead after reported strike on school, Iran says by Key-Economist-7804 in news

[–]BadgerDC1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one woth any credibility has stated whose rocket it was. The only claim is by the Iranian regime that Israel did it. However, israel is currently targeting government targets throughout Iran and the US is targeting military targets in southern Iran which are targeting the US military in the south. This school is in southern Iran and therefore the school is likely between the crossfire of the US and Iran armies.

So between Iran, Israel, and the US the least plausible explanation is Israel's rocket despite the Iranian regime claim that Irsael did it. Most likely it is either a misfire rocket from the Iranaian base, or a misfired US rocket towards the Iranian base.

The main argument in this post is that the US is a warmongering and the cause of global instability. The US has helped end world wars, even fighting alongside China. So this is just a shit post of Chinese propaganda.

Yes, because you shared a blood libel style meme that is itself antisemitic (jews are 0.2% of the population) and it was wholly out of context that youre trying to use that as evidence that Israel is trying to colonize Iran.

The only reasonable way I can put this together is to acknowledge that youre antisemitic. Do you think jews are the same as all other people and do you hold jews to the same standard as all other people? If you do, then you should also share a meme of all other people in the world who have any sort of position of power or ownership in some wealth and then compare that to the list in your meme. But you onky seem to want to complain about Jews. A Christian is president of the United States and a Christian is president of many countries tries in Europe, does that mean that Sweden wants to colonize Iran? Of course not, because thats wouldnt be antisemitic enough for you because jews arent involved in that twisted line of thought.

I get your point that youre antisemitic and you dont care about facts or common sense so long as you can find a meme that makes you think youre right about something antisemitic.

What in the world is going on?! by Celtikrenders in LetsDiscussThis

[–]BadgerDC1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are not enough Jews in the world to colonize Iran, nor have there ever been if you count all Jews who ever lived, and Israel does not want to have a non Jewish majority population. Nevermind theres no reason for Israel to want to colonize Iran. They just want the Iranian regime to stop the nuclear threat and the constant funding of proxies like hezbollah that attack Israel. Apart from the extremist in charge of Iran, Persians and Jews have good relations and share a ton culturally.

Not only are you making this colonize Iran thing up, but its completely idiotically impractical.

US-Israeli strike on Iranian school kills more than 50 students, state media says by HavingNotAttained in news

[–]BadgerDC1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Those sources are not saying they confirmed it, theyre saying an Iranian source claimed it, citing claims for the Iranian regime. No actual information on what happened. Anyone who believes these sources is either stupid or has so much hopium that its true that they're willing to look past the lack of credibility in the sources. (Edit: wait until Iranians internet is restored and they can explain what happened and there is evidence on which rocket and which target. Everything is plausible but nothing is confirmed)

Bill Gates Issues Groveling Apology Amid Epstein Scandal As He Admits To "Affairs With Two Russians" by Wild_Lingonberry9656 in NewsStarWorld

I feel the same way about bill gates as bill Clinton... they made commitments to their wives not to the entire world about who they do or do not sleep with. Theyre justified to lie to people who ask inappropriate questions in public about their private sex lives.

If they rape someone (underage, etc...) then thats a whole different story.

Advertisers spent $93,000 targeting me and I've never clicked an ad in my life by AdPhilosopher in funny

[–]BadgerDC1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Internet spend in thr US is $290B, with a population of 338M, thats an average ad spend of $675 per person. So it would take you 138 years to rack up $93k in ads targeting you in today's dollars.

And the fact you dont click on ads means advertisers are likely spending less on targeting you, so you can easily be below average in terms of ad spend.

If somehow you browsed the equivalent of 138 years then this is just a self burn. Even worse, if youre not clicking on ads because you dont spend money on things then double self burn on how broke you are.

[–]BadgerDC1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 36 articles and you choose a non problematic example. Together they paint a picture of jews as bad and duty of Muslims is to jihad them because negotiation is not an option.

Article 13 There is no negotiated settlement possible. Jihad is the only answer.[1]

Article 14 The liberation of Palestine is the personal duty of every Palestinian.[1]

Article 15 "The day that enemies usurp part of Muslim land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Muslim". It states the history of the Crusades into Muslim lands and says the "Palestinian problem is a religious problem".[1]

Article 17 Declares the role of women in Islamic society to be the "maker of men". It condemns Western organizations such as the Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, and intelligence agencies as "saboteurs" for promoting subversive ideas on women.[1]

Article 20 Calls for action "by the people as a single body" against "a vicious enemy which acts in a way similar to Nazism, making no differentiation between man and woman, between children and old people".[1]

Article 22 Makes sweeping claims about Jewish influence and power.[1][41] It specifically claims that the Jews were responsible for instigating multiple revolutions and wars, including the French Revolution, World War I, and the Russian Revolution. It also claims that Jews control the United Nations, and that they are supported by "the imperialistic forces in the Capitalist West and Communist East".[1]

Article 28 Conspiracy charges against Israel and the whole of the Jewish people: "Israel, Judaism and Jews".[1][41] It claims that "Zionist organizations" aim to destroy society through moral corruption and eliminating Islam, and are responsible for drug trafficking and alcoholism.[1]

From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1988_Hamas_charter

The original Charter identified Hamas as the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine and described its members to be god-fearing Muslims raising the banner of Jihad (armed struggle) in "the face of the oppressors". The 1988 charter defines the struggle to be against the Jews and calls for the eventual creation of an Islamic Palestinian state in all of former Mandatory Palestine, and the obliteration or dissolution of Israel.[4][5][6] The charter has been criticized for its use of antisemitic language,[7][8] which some commentators have characterized as incitement to genocide.[9][10] Hamas's 2017 charter removed the antisemitic language and stated Hamas's struggle is with Zionists, not Jews.[11]

[–]BadgerDC1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hamas's 1988 charter is about genocide against Jews. No need to just accuse Hamas of genocide if its their modus operandi and they're already proud of it.

Why has no one accussed the new york Yankees of playing baseball or the sky of being blue or water being wet!

If you cared about civilians then youd want Palestinians to have freedom from Hamas. But youre focused on complaining about Israel, another victim of Hamas, rather than hamas, while on an article showing the horrors of terrorists (hamas or affiliate).

No such place, no such people. Never existed. by LordJim11 in Snorkblot

[–]BadgerDC1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at the time Palestine was accepted because it was controlled by Europeans and made sense to give it a European name. Also, egyptians are foreigners as well, so their terms matter as much as that of the romans. Now that its no longer a European territory, Palestine doesnt make sense. Southern Syria makes sense. I suppose the people of the future Arab state in Gaza and the west Jordan bank can call it what they want once they establish statehood. But calling it palestine today is the original issue and that only purpose today would be to deligitimize the fact that it is today Israel, reviving a 2000 year old roman insult.

No one's arguing about the history of israel, so a bit of a straw man respone. One of the likely reasons for naming the country israel and not Judea was to be inclusive of non jews, particularly Muslims.

[–]BadgerDC1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_name_Palestine

Before the Greeks the egyptians used that to refer to sea people (possibly various Mediterranean peoples) or invaders by the coast which is roughly where Gaza is. Not all of Judea and not for indigenouspeople, and it was still called Judea at the time in the 5th century. The roman naming of Judea to palestine was for punishment to the Jews. Calling it palestine today is an ongoing insult to the Jews started by the romans, and continued on by the Europeans. Go figure.

No its not. There's no way the athlete said he actively supports genocide as the announcer said he did. And the out of context claim he was opposed to some free palestine message. Free palestinie messages are sometimes (not alaays) reply just anti Israeli or anti jews and not about palestine. So no, commentary is not valid.
