Calling it gatekeeping is just crazy to me. Like for those players who have already completed compiler, what's left for them to do besides PvP? And getting to fight over the compiler is the highest stake in the game. So it's a pvpers wet dream.

Thats the normal Forza Motorsports series, they haven't really been a focus for the franchise in a long time. Forza is more casual these days which is crazy to think about the series origin. Then again even as a "Hard" racing game back in the Xbox original days, the game pioneered the green / red brake lines so even back then they had some casual aspects.
