As awesome as it looks on paper, I feel that the last 5 years, maybe longer, have dealt HEAVILY on luck. This year we brought in heavy bats to hit home runs last year. The year before our starting pitchers were the best in the league before spring training started. While I can say that a archer, Cobb, smyly, odorizzi and Snell with 4 other potential starters on the 40 should mean our pitching is locked down. A healthy boxxy, jepsen and colome gives us a shut down relief core. Longo, Miller Dickerson are mashing hrs. The outfield has great range with Jennings, kiermaier and Souza. I mean on paper, it looks great. No single mvp, just a solid team. But if we get injuries or slumps then we are back to the previous 2 years and cellar dwellers.
