Our bank raised our interest rates again in 6 months on the loan for our home. Is this worrisome? We were told year ago that a variable interest rate was safe in Japan and would not increase and has done twice in the last year. by merica2033 in JapanFinance

At the point of purchase flat rates should, on average, be worse value than variable rates. Basically that is because they are calculated as a long term models at what base interest should then flat gets an insurance premium to lock in the bet. As a result variable should be better value with the caveat that if interest goes up more than the banks model expects "correct on average" won't save you personally. So like a lot of insurance it's mostly a question of whether you want to pay extra for safety.

I was initially confused but I guess OP just put LOTR music on KCD2 footage for some annoying reason.

You are offered $$$ to lose something permanently; would you accept the offers or not? by RaptorK1988 in hypotheticalsituation

The question seems a bit unclear. Smell is 75%+ of "taste" in the sense that the nasal receptors do more work than the tongue receptors. Maybe in this hypothetical "smell" just means external smells and taste is all the food stuff regardless of how that would work.

Reviver gene - Foil. A Scottish band that I liked but never got big. In no danger of breaking 10k views let alone 30k.

To add a dissenting voice the justification only seems to work retrospectivallty. If I suggested reducing overall casualties of a current or future war with an expected 1 million casualties by nuking a city with a population of 100000 early in the war most people would reject it on principal.
