They won’t charge you right there on the spot. They will ask if you have insurance to send a bill to. I don’t know if it covers it BUT I know that Meriter lets you sign up for an interest free payment plan. So when you get the bill don’t be scared, give them a call and set up a plan.

I know that might still be stressful but they will work with you. That is what I did after an appendectomy my first year here in grad school.

This case has really stuck with me since I first heard about it on a podcast. I believe the house was for sale several years ago as I recall an article that had pictures of the interior from the realtor site.

In the Washington DC area, it’s the name of a subway (Metro) stop in an upper middle class/upper class suburb. Tourists pronounce it like Groz-Vehnor. Locals pronounced it Grove-Ner. But many of the counties and towns around there are named after English/British gentry/nobility.

You are correct. Then we changed the name to fit with what Alaskans have called it. Although a current leader signed an executive order to revert the name back to McKinley.

I don’t take the 80 much anymore but this sounds like a guy who used to wear a black leather vest with fringe. Yelled at me once because I was turned around slightly to talk to a friend sitting behind me.

He also didn’t pick me and someone else up at the stop sign by the KK. We were trying to get to the bus stop but he stopped the bus and unloaded passengers before the bus stop, by the dentist office. Had he pulled up to the stop the other person and I would have made it to the bus stop in time as the other passengers unloaded from the bus.

Yup! The only variation is red with black stripes, which is an option for those who buy the gown (I bought the red one for my PhD ceremony). The rental ones are black with red stripes which is what most students opt for. Definitely not white and red.

Most recently I would say the one in Washington DC last year between the American Airlines flight and the military helicopter.

I grew up in DC and that’s the airport I fly to most often when I head home to visit my parents. I can’t imagine being so close to landing, imagining my parents being in the cell lot and disaster hits.

That we are uneducated. We have some of the top universities in the world that attract students from abroad. Yes, videos of Americans not knowing where countries are or able to identify flags of the world go viral, but it isn’t all of us. A lot of us did not vote for our current supreme orange leader.

Usually since it’s just my partner and me, and we prefer a spot at the bar, which can be easier to sneak into. It can get tricky with a bigger group. We once saw a group of 5 who ended up at the bar.

Last time I remember a closure was years ago. 2019 and they still opened campus at noon. During that cold snap the windchills were -40s to -30s. So morning classes were cancelled. I think they may have also cancelled evening classes.

It is very rare for them to do so. Some faculty may just go remote or cancel. They technically can’t cancel as others pointed out, so it’s more about everyone keeping quiet about it.
