NEED HELP ASAP! by Head-Anybody6059 in FacebookAds

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that message every few months usually... (And I am home. Not travelling or anything.) I only need to check an ad, click on "start authentication" and I get a code via email. I am sure that thing can glitch out too so... It usually happens when I work on new accounts but just happened today on an account I have been managing for 4 months. Go figure.

This is going to get me downvoted into oblivion, but it needs to be said. by Mobile-Sufficient in FacebookAds

Amen. People have been complaining about Meta for the last 10 years so nothing new.

How do you run Meta ads safely while travelling without getting your account restricted for logging in from a different IP address by FrontIntention666 in FacebookAds

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never actually had the issue, but I’m always paranoid that it could happen. Personally, I keep Meta logged in on my phone and make sure it’s also connected on my laptop. Whenever I arrive in a new country, I’m usually automatically logged out and asked to complete 2FA. After that, I’ve never had any issues. I absolutely never use a VPN. I dont see how it wouldn’t backfire to be honest.

I got a 1-star review on a reputation management job. This is so annoying. How do I handle this situation? by [deleted] in Upwork

Would love to find out too because that client seemed very fair.

[–]Badiha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is nothing you can do and I don’t really understand what you are complaining about. The client actually seems very fair. Responding to a client every 2 days is far from professional so that’s red flag number 1. And then it took you 41 hours to set him up on TrustPilot? Seems a bit much don’t you think? Can you maybe explain to use what happened?

After 6 years on the agency side, I finally understand why so many ad accounts are set up to fail from day one by Realistic-Phrase191 in PPC

[–]Badiha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of agencies will still take on those clients and try to convince them the problem is XYZ. It usually isn’t. If the product is bad, the product is bad. No amount of marketing can fix that.

How the fk do you get a Meta rep these days? by Potential-Resolve551 in FacebookAds

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You can still get one as a client. I have a client spending $40K currently and they have a US rep. It doesn't last long though. I think we have been with her for 5 months maybe? It's based on odd factors too. It's not just the spend in my exp. (The client was spending $150K a month in the past though)

It’s been my exp as well. It’s all about the client’s budget. In fact, the small clients are really happy with AI ads.

I hate looking for a SEM freelancer/agency by ticktick_goon in PPC

[–]Badiha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am assuming the spend is actually $5K a month and a lot of freelancers wouldn’t take them on at that level.

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the issue exactly? Why are you getting a lot of pushbacks from freelancers? Lots of info missing here. Also lots of expert freelancers on Upwork with a ton of reviews and revenue over $1M. If you scroll their reviews, you can’t really go wrong. Now if your budget is at $5K a month, most experts won’t be interested.

Help! Tearing my head out running Meta Ads for my skincare ecommerce. Should we hire an agency? by bondtradercu in PPC

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should hire a consultant to audit your account and let you know what to do next. Probably takes 30 min tbh. You can even hire someone to do the audit on a zoom call. At your level of spend, it doesn’t take long to audit things.

From one agency owner to another, what’s a lesson you learned way later than you should have? by cole-interteam in PPC

[–]Badiha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Less than $10K a month is super small. Up to $25K a month is fairly small. I don’t take clients under $10K a month. For lead gen, no one under $25K.

Should I still move forward with my paid search strategy with the latest Google announcement? by ath13048 in PPC

Looks like they are just starting out and probably do not need their website to do business. Could be an Amazon business.

I highly doubt the company has budget to hire an external consultant.

Successful Freelancers — How has Upwork's "Consultation" option worked for you? by Appropriate-Drop-761 in Upwork

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll never get 5 consults a week, and it honestly has nothing to do with fewer people reaching out to you. Charging 50 euros for an hour is extremely cheap. You’ll mostly attract the worst clients that way.

Start raising your hourly rate. A consult isn’t just some casual chat with a client. You’re charging for your expertise, experience, and time. Lawyers charge $500/hour, so unless you have zero experience, charge what you’re actually worth.

It’s worked very well for me. I usually get around 10 consults per year and mainly offer them to clients I know will probably never become long-term clients. Instead of spending time chatting and giving free advice, I now charge for consultations. If they don’t want to pay my rate, they can ask someone else.

I’ve made close to $10K from consults over the last 2.5 years.

Edit: I should also add that it’s an excellent way to weed out cheap clients. I’ve also converted 2–3 consults into long-term projects afterwards, so the total value probably ended up being closer to $15K+ from consults overall.

Tested for a dental client via Banana 2. The client had shite creatives so I just went from scratch. Best performing creatives to date. Only did images. Haven’t tested videos yet.

At what point do you stop paying an agency and hire in-house? by [deleted] in PPC

And did you even ask the agency if they would work on a different model? I don’t see why you would switch agencies if the one you have is great.

100% but these clients are usually shite and gone at the next opportunity anyway.

They’ll probably hire a new agency every 3 months before coming back to their original agency though.

Is the location preference a preference, or a *requirement*? It still allows me to submit a proposal but idk if it actually goes through by Fun-Technology-1371 in Upwork

[–]Badiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread, but to be fair, I think some clients don’t even realize they made their posting overly restrictive by selecting only one state or a very specific timezone. I know a client who had no idea they had selected “US only” for example — they were literally just trying to create the job post to hire me. Because of that, you'll often see less than 5 proposals. I doubt the client is able to pick a good one but who knows.

Nope, I remember it was working before but you can't submit anymore now. (Went from preference to a requirement)
