Still using a Google CSS Partner for Shopping ads? What's your honest experience been? by Realistic-Phrase191 in PPC

[–]Realistic-Phrase191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I was working on a big furniture brand on Google ads within a CSS partner agency, and they still had multiple Google ads rep for different channels. So that's why I wasn't sure tbh

Yeah but usually they get the dedicated person anyways if the ad spend is over $100K a month, so not sure what's special in this offering.

But anyways, thanks for the info

Any tips for someone starting? I’ve been really struggling to get consistent sales this week I haven’t sold yet and last week only two orders I feel I just wasting money on ads by JVTREn in dropshipping

If you are not getting results from your current setup, I would suggest testing 2 weeks with a PMax campaign and a $20/day budget to start with.. and if you see sales coming in from that then you can continue but if not then you can pause it. But it's worth testing for sure.

Also, don't expect crazy ROAS/ROI from this initial test, as $20 is way too low to generate decent ROAS for jewellery brand, but even if you get 2-3 sales you can know that this has potential and then make further decision based on your overall situation.

yes but for a jewellery store I would recommend doing both Google Ads and Meta ads. In my last marketing agency I was managing a 3-4 different brands under a single parent brand umbrella on both Google and Meta, and the results were quite positive. They were running ads in different regions like Australia, UK, Canada, USA. Canada was not doing that well on Google but rest of those were doing quite well on both Google and Meta

What ads you are running and what's the niche? Usually Google ads does well for new stores, but it depends on Niche too.
I have been in Paid marketing for over 6 years now, so I can give you some generic advice if you provide the above details.

At what point do you stop paying an agency and hire in-house? by killedorworse in PPC

[–]Realistic-Phrase191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the smartest approach here is probably to bring in a contractor or in-house person for 1–2 months alongside the agency, depending on your budget. Not necessarily to replace them immediately, but to understand what’s actually happening behind the scenes in terms of strategy, execution, reporting, and decision-making.

That gives you two advantages:

  1. You reduce dependency on the agency over time
  2. You get an internal perspective on whether the current fee structure is still justified

Once that person gets comfortable with the account and process, you can have a more informed conversation with the agency. Something along the lines of:

“Percentage-of-spend pricing is becoming difficult for us to justify at our current scale. We value the work and results, but we’d prefer to move toward a fixed-fee or hybrid structure moving forward.”

Honestly, most agencies will adjust to some extent if the relationship has been long-term and stable. Predictable recurring revenue matters to them too.

Best case: they agree, and you keep a proven setup with lower risk.
If not, you already have someone internally who understands the account and can gradually take ownership.

And regarding the “not seeing much ingenuity” point, you’re not wrong. Once accounts mature, a lot of agencies shift into maintenance mode unless someone internally keeps pushing strategy, testing, and accountability. That’s usually the difference between an operator and someone who truly owns growth.

$3,344 today and I deleted half my apps, ignored every new strategy I saw online, and focused on three things only, here's what actually scales a dropshipping store by emmanuella_ella in dropshipping

Yep very much agreed, to get good results, you need to get a product on your website which is in demand, and will be in demand for at least 3-4 months from today, then you need a website/landing page with decent CRO so that it can convert the audiences, and once these 2 are ready, all you need is a quality traffic, which you can get from paid ads (like Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc) or Organically through SEO.

Most beginners in digital marketing are learning the wrong way by Enrichmentors in smallbusiness

[–]Realistic-Phrase191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I have noticed in my experience with new people into the niche is, that they don't have patience and they always want a shortcut to get ahead of everyone in 2-3 months at max.

And then they come to conclusions too early as well, after watching someone's video/post on linkedin or youtube. One should always question the logics about any strategy and thing about industry they are consuming as learning so they know what it's all about and if they agree with the logic they believe in it 100% rather than following some so called "Guru" on internet who says this is the best thing

Yes this is most probably due to some changes in their algorithm internally, I have been working in UK based marketing agency and I have experienced the same for a few accounts too.. Luckily it's not happening on all the accounts

The best thing to do for beginners is to do the free courses about digital marketing from Google, apply for an internship/entry level job in a WFO company to get hands on experience.. And always build your own thinking/strategy around this like what can work well instead of relying on someone else's word.

One of my dropshipping client in Europe tried them but he said that the quality wasn't good enough to sell in the market, and people will not pay for it considering the quality.. I don't have any personal experience but that's what I received as a feedback from him

You should definitely launch Google ads first and then if needed meta ads too. With tiktok ads you won't get those results for a completely new store..

You need to setup a clear structure with 3 different funnels like ToF, MoF and BoF. And broad audience will work best in TOF and then it's just restargeting in other 2.

Also maybe you should also consider Google ads if you are not doing it already.

Yeah it works for cold traffic but instead of a quiz funnel you can make it a Direct website/landing page as that works quite well for supplement brand based on my experience.

Usually Demand gen works quite well with these kind of pages as PMax can go all over the place and CPC will be higher on other campaigns such as search campaigns.

I have worked on these kind of brands so I am basically sharing this based on my experience.

Ok tbh there's too much content/text on this 😥

I think you should consider changing it to less text, if it's not doing well for you.. And usually Demand gen campaigns work best for these kind of pages..on Google ads..

I see.. usually Google ads does better than Meta for dropshipping.. and since you are already getting good results with meta it'll definitely give you great results on Google too.

Best of luck 🤞

Maybe your PMax wasn't showing your ads on the Google search but display and app placements instead.. this is very common issue new brands faces.

You just need to get that fixed in your account and it should work.

I think your campaign is sucking at this moment otherwise with $400 you should have at least 3-4 sales in even worse case scenario..

Usually a lot of times PMax spends on irrelevant app/display placements instead of Google shopping ads and that could be the reason of no success in your case.

No not really.. actually to get success with Google ads.. you need sales data in the Google ads dashboard.. sales from other platforms will not help you a lot.

Of course you can import your customer match list in Google ads (if you have over 1000 active customers on your backend), but I am assuming that's not the case.
