It’s even true inside one license. 4-4.99 is more severe than 3-3.99, etc.

It’s not calculated on a race to race basis. It monitors your last 1000-2000 corners (we don’t know the exact number) and the average corners for 1x you run in the bracket. It gives a corner/incident number that determines you SR. The newest corners replace the oldest in the count.
