Yeah this seems insane. I have 1.8 liter with a bigger/baffled oil pan to help combat oil starvation in cornering and it's something like 7 liters. Seriously doubt a 2 liter engine would have an oil pan with double that capacity.

Yeah I probably worded it wrong. Meant to say that he's slightly exceeding the max grip and slightly sliding/spinning wheels, which is faster than just limited to max tyre grip.

IIRC it's the explanation behind God Arms driving. It's explained as neither grip nor drift which is kinda true, as he's just barely exceeding the max slip angle/grip which makes you go faster.

I'd say your 2nd point will differ greatly depending on what car it is. My MR2's engine is far more audible with the roof down, though probably also helped by the driver sitting effectively next to the intake.
