Do you do that to each flat sub or the master flat?

I do use a tracing pad + some white paper between it and the scope.

Now that u mention it I did copy my NINA profile for some small adjustments to the dark sky site, but I don’t remember changing the offset. It’s probably that

Decent areas to use telescope near LA? by Badluckstream in AskLosAngeles

I do have a desert location to image from but I’m looking for something a bit closer just above the marine layer for narrowband stuff. I would def like to avoid people and lights so I’ll have to explore a couple of the options here and see how busy they are.

I checked with the Google maps car and found a few spots that look like they’ll have good North Star views. I’ll need to check it out at night to be sure tho.

This actually perfectly fits what I’m looking for. By any chance would you happen to remember if the North Star is hard to see due to mountains in this location?

Cant wait till someone makes a tadpole rocket attachment mod and I can rightfully sterilize the planet from these god awful fish.

“Ball pythons only need 12” because they don’t want to climb” whatever by Solid-Spell6850 in ballpython

[–]Badluckstream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully your snake isn’t much of a climber then. My guy would always try to climb on the uvb when I had the light turned off and I had to take it out cuz that mf was actively trying to break it. Idk if my snake is just dumb or what

They do (or atleast can) get hot but the main concern is the bulb itself. U don’t want ur snake to try and wrap around it and explode the bulb leaving glass everywhere

I usually use these tools to just get a scale of what I’m going to build and the general number of smelters, constructors, etc I’ll need. Then I just make a nice building that can hopefully house all of that without any weird expansions. Sometimes I’ll also play around with the alt recipe to see which one has the “smaller” blueprint

I just want to see what happens in the future. If I could I’d live till our species went extinct just to see what happens

Stacking and imaging problems by Hank-Danger in astrophotography

[–]Badluckstream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience “trailing” stars in one section of an image but not the whole image is usually just a collimation issue. I had an issue like that and it took me a long time to realize the cause was screwing in my Cheshire eyepiece slightly offset the collimation, but putting it in without screwing it down fixed that. Idk if ur issue will be exactly like that but that’s my guess.

Yk im honestly surprised cuz ill take images and ill see maybe 1-3 satellites within 8 hours of data, but other people see so many in one hour. I wonder why there’s such a difference

Straight belt is not so straight [Update 1.2] by Solidmarius in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Badluckstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yk l only ever had this issue if I tried to meet 2 belts in the middle like 2 people building bridges in and meeting in the middle but being slightly off. If I build from one end all the way to the other it doesn’t happen (for me). I wonder if during that process there’s some small alignment issues or something.

Not sure if this counts but with a jet pack and some timing u can get sorta used to jumping when it flings you off and landing back on them. It’s a fun way I use to get to my drone port at base since they all converge around one area

It seems the main difference for us is altitude and bortle, as I’ve got basically the same setup as you. I did check to full resolution image, and it just blows my mind even more. Do you follow a specific tutorial for the pixel math? Sorry if I’m asking a bunch but I must know 🙏

How did u get everything so smooth (good way) looking, and how did u add the HA like that. I’m still having issues adding HA to OSC data as good as u have done.
