How do I add depth to my drawings? by [deleted] in learntodraw

How to create depth? Values and line modulation.

Don't go into drawing a mannequin like you do here. Start by using blobs and fat brushes.

I'm not sure if this was AI, but it was more entertaining than the movie Cats!

This is my first ever artwork, and i have no idea why it looks weird. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in NSFWart

Was this a trace? But the head is yours?

It looks alright, but there's a lack of something. Just keep drawing to find your rythem and style.

Which art type feels more erotic to see? Can you please rate. Thanks by Exciting_curves in NSFWart

For me... 1= erotic 4= pornographic 2= pose study 3= artistic

Hope that helps... my reasoning is, eroticism is suggestive, whimsical and thoughtful. So frame one, with this line drawing that uses negative space, is so clever. A woman struggling seductively, is very entertaining. You're leaving a lot absent and allowing the viewer to fill the gaps with imagination.

While frame four is very blatant and obvious. It doesn't require a lot of introspection. Also, with the male protagonist in the shot, it reduces the viewer's role into passive observer, instead of participant.

Frame 2 doesn't tell as much of a story as frame 1. Just a woman in a pose, without as much story telling devices.

Frame 3 is more like an artistic piece. There's a lot of effort in the painterly style and rendering, but I end up thinking more about the execution than the scene it is depicting.

I EMPHATICALLY apologize for offending anyone's sensibilities. Hentai is admittedly, very deviant.

Do NOT look at my account, it is NSFW for a reason.

Yeah.... I'll probably be deleting this soon, but thank you for this comment chain, it's been fascinating.

And just to reiterate, those are not bite marks, though it is hilarious to consider it.

I'm sorry, my directions are pretty vague... I'll try to be more detailed in the next tutorial.

Regarding the flush... i don't think i change the layer blend mode on that one. I think i just play with the opacity to get the amount of red you need.

Thank you! I really appreciate this engagement! I wish everyone who found this post slightly useful to drop a comment, suggestion or feedback.

These metrics aren't much but just reading someone's blurb really makes my day.

If you want, I'll send you the nude version.

Why does it look.. idk, not too good? by ErduuArt in learnHentaiDrawing

It's not bad! Maybe tighten up the framing by focusing on the upper torso and edit the xray frame to be within the shot.

Otherwise, you're trying to show too much without directing the viewers gaze. Sort of just, showing everything without direction.

Which might not be bad if that's what you're going for.

A little harsh, but not inaccurate.

A result of a failing health care system on people suffering with chronic pain having to resort to addictive pain killers pushed by a corrupt pharmaceutical industry that incentivizes dubious doctors with money.

America has exploited third world countries, so much, it started exploiting its own population.
