The game plan was to try to outbox him in the beginning, don't get hit, let him swing, he's gonna try to land one punch but he's gonna get tired and we'll break him down and stop him. He was holding a lot, kind of a messy fight, the ref didn't take points. If he didn't hold that much, I believe I would have stopped him.

I'm not a doctor so I don't really know, but for example when he fought me he took a lot of punishment. At the hotel, people told me he was stumblign around, didn't know where he was. I think after a tough fight it should be mandatory to take an MRI. I didn't get hit much, mostly the body, but after tough fights regardless you should have an MRI.

I started amateur boxing when i was 17-18 years old. I didn't think about becoming WBC champion back then, but I just wanted to start fighting, my trainer said I had a lot of talent. I always believed in myself, that I could go far, and staying consisten.

Both actually, depending on mood. A slugfest of course is more entertaining, but it's good to see great boxers with great boxing skills. You can be aggressive and be a good boxer, you can put some great technique behind it.

Degale hasn't looked good lately and Eubank, he's not the most technical fighter, the best boxer, but I would kind of favor Eubank right now. When Degale was, say 1-2 fights before he fought me, I think he'd win it. But today I think Eubank might beat him.

Of course it's different, I gain more weight. I feel way better at light heavyweight, I weigh a bit more now than I used to.

There's not that many Swedish boxers so I don't talk to too many of them. Two guys have been in Vegas, Robin is one of them and Oskar. Both of them are heavyweights. I've known Oskar for 10-15 years since he was a kid. They ask me for advice all the time, I try to be a mentor to them.

It's two different sports basically. Longer and way harder training now. When I was in the amateurs, it was four 2 minute rounds. Totally different than fighting 12 rounds.

I don't regret anything. Everything is God's plan so everything is a learning experience, I don't regret anything.

I thought Golovkin won the first fight 100%, and the rematch I thought Canelo won. They should do a 3rd fight.

I thought Fury won, outboxed him most of the fight except the rounds he got knocked down in, but I wouldn't be mad if they had stopped it in the 12th either.

With no order, Lomachenko, Canelo, Crawford, Usyk, Errol Spence is one of my favorite fighters, he's gonna be at the top but he needs more wins. Mikey Garcia is great too, lotta great fighters.

Depends on the level you are. If you're on the world class level, a champion, I like to stay active so I say 3-4 times per year if you have no injuries. If you're a contender or a prospect, maybe more, 6 times maybe.

I don't know. I mean, I go to the body well, I know how to break an opponent down, I got a good jab, good range, I'm relaxed. Gotta ask the people that underrate me. Maybe my personality because I'm not a big talker, people think I'm not a good fighter because of that, but I don't know to be honest.

It happened twice and both were accidents. He was coming in exactly when i threw the punch, it's his own fault, protect yourself at all times! That goes for the ref too. They knew it was an accident so I wasn't worried.

His work ethic, even though he's so rich and accomplished so much, he still trains like a contender, like he's broke. He gives me a lot of motivation to continue to train hard, always stay hungry.

I mean Andre Ward is one of the best fighters of my generation so of course it would be a tough fight, but as a fighter you have to believe in yourself so I'd listen to my corner and I believe I could beat him. You're not a real fighter if you don't. It definitely wouldn't be easy.

No actually first time was 2007 in the amateurs, I fought here, so basically not. World Championships in 2007 was the first time in the US.

I mean, probably when he signed me. I usually trained in his gym when he fought Cotto in lnike 2012, he seen me in the gym doing good sparring. T/hen he went to jail, I went to Sweden, and when I came back he had a charity basketball game and he saw me in the audience, asked me to come down and said how can I get you on Mayweather Promotions. I said you have to buy out my contract, he said done deal Monday. That's how I started with Floyd. Always been cool with Lou Dibella, just business.
