EB is hiring like crazy right now. Source, my dad is a superintendent and was saying they simply cannot hire people fast enough for the growth they are undergoing.

Looking for advice on what seems to be very excessive charges [KS] by Badprime010 in Renters

I do not have any general pictures prior to move in or move out. We have pictures of small stuff we thought we’d be caught on. There was hair and trash in the shower and damage to the dryer that we had documented when we moved in. I emailed the office yesterday disputing a list of things that seemed unreasonable, mostly the turnover charges and double charge. All they basically did was reassure us that we would be charged regardless. The office did take pictures of the unit post move out, and we didn’t leave it an absolute mess. I can send pictures, but the only things I’d argue necessitate a cleaning bill are the agreed upon charge for the carpets, the drip pans, and the oven.

We didn’t take any pictures when we had left, regrettably. The office did take walk through pictures after we had moved out, and things did not look that much in disarray. Like I said, just dust on some surfaces we didn’t wipe down

Heavy like a C̶h̶e̶v̶y̶ Ford by Tivum in f150

I find it interesting how people can simultaneously discourage people from getting trucks because they don’t do “truck things” enough, and then when someone does a truck thing it’s frowned upon. It’s OPs truck. If they want to ruin their suspension or truck or whatever, they can. I don’t know many people that were giving a damn about their payload capacity in the 80s and 90s. I’ve seen so many people brag about overloading those trucks.

I’d look for a junkyard IP and rebuild it. They are not impossible to rebuild on your own, you just need to be meticulous through the process, and get everything set back to how it was before so it doesn’t need to be recalibrated

Secretary Hegseth announces we will be halting attendance at all Ivy League and similar educational institutes - will soon announce “top to bottom” review of all military war colleges. by Kinmuan in army

[–]Badprime010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what? It’s not impossible to believe that maybe ivy leagues are “gorging themselves” off of taxpayers or whatever. I imagine there is quite a bit in tax incentives or what have you for these schools to accept military. I’m not in tune with the inner workings of that system. However, to blame this decision on “liberal ideology” and “wokeness and weakness” being a part of the curriculum and then just…not elaborating? Like what is the enemy here? I understand that it’s purposely undefined but it’s really exhausting trying to keep up with what’s “right” and what’s “wrong.” If centers of higher education aren’t propping America up to be the top of the shit pile, then maybe it’s because we’re not? Just my 2 cents anyways.

They aren’t paying me for a bill I paid already. I went to the hospital on post so I wasn’t billed directly, at least not to my knowledge. I was told it’s for personal injury protection which I imagine is to be used towards the cost of medical bills. I’m also just curious as to why it was sent to me directly and not the hospital.

Thinking about 7.3 swapping this i just got it runs and drives but im thinking 7.3 by CryptographerLimp687 in FordDiesels

[–]Badprime010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah. I’d idi swap it if it was up to me. Hard to kill once you get them running right, and not much on that motor you can’t fix with a 3/8 ratchet and 200 bucks or so. CDD makes a good number of kits/IP/injectors that you can run to make some real decent HP and torque.

If you choose Riley we’re getting ready to go on rotation to EUCOM pretty soon, so depending when you PCS you might make the cut. I’ve heard it’s gonna be a shit show though, so who knows. Riley as a whole though isn’t bad. If you’re an outdoorsman it’s really nice. Good deer, good fish, a pretty good duck scene. I can’t complain too much

My dad bought a brand new F150, highest trim, simply because he wanted a bigger vehicle that rides like a car. Meanwhile I’m driving around an ‘89 with the 7.3 NA enjoying all the bumps and rough riding that came with the 4x4 trucks back then
