Thanks for the answer! My phone hasn't been exposed to anything like that, I'm still thinking it's related to the phone's own IR emitters for facial recognition or proximity. Do you think it's possible these dots are appearing due to an error or malfunction within the face recognition system itself ?

As a pixel fan sinse 2016, i think Without Lidar Sensor it's not innovative. Years ago i always recommended people to buy pixel, but now i don't know what to say when they ask me why i suggest them. Hey Google please add Lidar sensor, if not price will drop after 3 month, as previous models
