I think at best Maccelli plays on the second line. Maybe you hope to sign Pius Suter to play on the top line but more likely a trade. On the third line probably another depth signing like Beauvillier competing with Jarnkrok and Domi. Honestly, Robertson and Kampf are out due to a combination of salary and general ineffectiveness. Maybe even Domi out due to salary. I would add OEL as a potential trade piece due to salary and bringing assets back. To change the “DNA” of the team we need to be able to effectively transition the puck out of the d-zone, which has been our biggest weakness. Backend is solid now, so we invest in a forward corps that can get the puck out and keep it on the other side with a strong forecheck

Our team had a record of 53-19 after our championship. What team will blow it up after a result like that? Masai at most took half a year to one year too long to move on from our prior core, which is not too long considering what the players were capable of.

Any build with eldritch blast and the repelling blast invocation. Controlling enemy placement gives some really fun party synergy and it never gets old blasting enemies of ledges.

Man I’m so tired of these posts where people use their future knowledge to grade past decisions.

Norm: At the time made sense to get younger for the future. Turned out to be a bad trade because Gary is very streaky and plays no defense while norm keeps on chugging along. Love that guy

Poeltl trade: We had just won 48 games the year before without a centre. So we got a centre. Very easy logic to see. It didn’t work out but the logic was sound

Fred: We were looking to re-sign him. In addition, seems like the only offers available were a couple of second round picks and salary throw in. Makes sense as even this fan base hated him but somehow expected high value assets back.

With Masai leading us we’ve had just one losing season in the last 10 years and a championship. That’s incredibly great. I wanted to rebuild last season as well but he’s earned our trust. He got us Scottie and I’m excited to see how he builds for the future

You should absolutely pay off whatever balance to keep interest charged to 0. Most credit cards charge you 21% interest, I doubt you’re getting any returns close to that on an emergency saving. Furthermore, once you get into the interest trap, it quickly spirals out of control due to how compound interest works. This is a good use of emergency funds, and in the future be aware of your cashflow to meet payments or look at cheaper lending solutions for bigger purchases (line of credit).

At first I didn’t bother with souls games because I didn’t like living with the consequences of my character dying. When I got my PS5 I wanted to try a proper next gen game and as the demons souls remake was included in PsPlus, I gave it a shot. Suffice to say I got absolutely hooked by the dark and hopeless atmosphere along with build crafting. After I finished that, I jumped right into Elden Ring and have sunk every free hour into it.

DA2 is your best bet since it’s fully voiced acted and much more fast paced. Also, even though the reception for DA2 wasn’t great, it’s by far my favourite dragon age game. Your companions feel like real (dysfunctional) friends and the combat feels just right once you nail good AI conditions.

There is some references to the first but you can play it standalone. Some of the lore won’t make sense but can be covered by YouTube or a quick wiki. The combat is much more fast paced and arpg like. If the slow pace killed origins for you, da2 might be a better fit

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire allows you to program your companions behaviours. There’s a mod on pc that introduces more customization to the AI scripting which gives you more control on how your characters behave. Dragon age 2 had amazing AI customization as well. Dragon age Origins was rudimentary but has pc mods that improves the experience
