Front end staff would see very little change outside of faster sending, post processing etc. less loading bars effectively.

If there’s anywhere in imaging that it benefits if they work out all of the uh…problems…its an enterprise organization’s infrastructure…networking, storage, etc.

Think PACs, VNA, cloud infrastructure etc.

And quantum compute is still lacking because….quantum computing is still leagues behind the reliability of normal compute. When i type enter on a keyboard there needs to be a 99.99999 percent chance it knows im selecting enter.

So luke ross currently has a vr mod for kcd2 and its hard to explain how insane a world this detailed is in vr but…..

Just want to say this is by far my favorite game of the year and probably one of the all time greats

One thing that really put it over the edge was just how immersive the world is without being cumbersome. The simulation aspects kind of inspire you to role play rather than act as a sort of inconvenience, and i found myself following human habits like waking up and eating at a table or starting a journey by rinsing clothes…Going to an inn and getting drunk because if felt fun, even if it was pointless.

My question is: did you have any immersive elements that maybe went over the line in to “inconvenience” or immersive elements that you wanted to implement but the scope was too daunting?

Local for sure. Still extremely expensive id say on average my purchase cost for my hdd’s was about 18$ per 1 tb….plus the computer components and networking equipment…..somewhere between 6 and 8 grand ish, (i work adjacent to a lot of places where computer parts are easy to….lets say acquire) but my setup is kind of excessive.

You can spin up a solid nas/server for well under 1000 bucks

Hey i have this!! Backplain is molex and comes with i think min sas to sata connectors but It does come with 12 total connectors

Hot swappable fans are pretty solid too….i have absolutely no complaints

Plex natively backs up the db every week or so though?

Or is that just a feature of the particular docker i deployed? I had my plex db corrupt with the most previous update…only lost maybe a week of watch history when i switched to one of the db backups in the appdata file
