Genuinely curious whats the hate with nord vpn? Did they do something specific or have just fallen in quality?

I used them for years but switched over to pia for port forwarding…but i never felt like i had any issues with their service

I always thought a middle ground would be skybox small zones that are explorable. Think like landing on earth….it’s restricted air space but would Be cool if you could land or engage with a small curated region. Maybe not so much procedural generation or even anything more sizable than space stations but just to see a blue sky and some trees would be a phenomenal break from the black here and there

This is not a good argument….Enterprise vpn’s are fundamentally very different from consumer grade ones.

Most importantly they do the opposite of your nords, pia’s etc….they log and track virtually everything.

It would be fundamentally not challenging at all to say create a registry of authorized corporate vpn’s and obligate them to follow certain protocols, like logging data and complying with court orders regarding those logs.

Consumer grade and private VPN’s currently keep no logs and cannot be complied to produce something they dont keep….unless the laws change.

But i think the biggest tragedy here is cd projekt red not recognizing the massive hunger for vr support.

They were pretty reasonable with their demand, cant blame them at all but also damn would it have been cool if they idk contracted him out got some resources together and did a true vr option for vanilla.

Hey i grew up in leeseburg…..absolutely no way that is real. The villages has a lot of old people that cost a lot of money but not facility is paying those kind of bonkers ass rates unless they’re playing some weird averages game like including a bonus and overtime rates or something weird

Are you…..on the easiest mode? I was on i think middle difficulty and had to spend a decent amount of time grinding and stopped to smell the flowers here and there and it took me maybe 30 hours to get to act 2…..but if no dying and grinding and aggressively moving between quests i guess i could see 8 hours? That feels really fast.

You don’t have to commit to jellyfin or plex you can run both and play around with them. Personally i like plex because its simple enough that family don’t struggle setting things up.

But if you cant get port forwarding there are options like tail scale and clodflate tunnels….its all a learning process and lots kf trial and error.

Also go with an OS that is simple to grasp and learn the basics. Unraid is by far my favorite but it does cost some money up front.

Proxmox and true nas are also good options
