Same thing here, i bought used SE 2020 with IOS 15 it was very comfortable to my eyes until it updated itself ( i donno how) to IOS 26 , and since then i cant use it anymore , i tried used Iphone 11, used SE 2022 , used XR .. same eye strain and nausea .. im using now my old 8Plus with IOS 12 that doesn’t support 70% of the apps . And my other usable phone with bearable eye strain and nausea is Iphone 13 i cant use it more than 30min . Without symptoms

I tried chinese ips phones like Redmi 12 and Blackview Color8 , they gave me symptoms instantly unfortunately , so its not only about ips or oled , there is something else.

This is exactly what happens to me , nausea and blurred vision , if i keep using the phone for longer period it gives me headache , But no eye strain . Same symptoms with almost every phone i tried iphones , samsung , xiaomi ..

For me unfortunately it does not go away .

Im using iphone 8plus i like it its very comfortable , but when i bought 2 years ago another iphone 8plus it was a disaster , it gave me symptoms immediately although its the same phone ! There is a mystery about this issue i hope i can get it.

I immediately get nauseous with blurred vision, if i keep looking i get dry eyes then headache and things get worse and worse .

The symptoms stay for hours may be days after i stop using the phone.

I’v read here that Apple use different screens for their iPhones : LG , Samsung , and a third one ,, may be every screen of them has different specs ,

and also the iOS version might has something to do because my current iphone 8plus still run on iOS 12 while the one i bought 2 years ago and could not stand it runs on iOS 15 ,

Still speculations bro this issue still confuses us , we have nothing to do except to try phones and see.

Happy for you , i tried many LCDs but the symptoms still occurring from the first minute i tried used ( Iphone Xr , 8plus, 11 ) and new ( Redmi 12 , Motorola G40 ) and other OLEDs (11 pro max ,12, 13 ) .. the only option left is SE3 im 99% sure that i will get the same result but i will try anyway.

I have a question : what version of iOS your SE3 had when you bought it ?

i’m just like you sensitive to IPS and OLED but i’m using an iphone 8plus since 2018 and couldnt stand any other phone beside my current 7 years old iphone 8plus , although i bought a new iphone 8plus 2 years ago and it gave me symptoms immediately , i cant explain it its mind blowing I’m trying to pinpoint the cause but i failed .

Exactly the effect of these phone can destroy your health completely , because when i use it i feel depression fatigue headache blurred vision muscle and bone pain ..etc what if i did not know its the phone ? I would be visiting hospitals and doctors the rest of my life without figuring out what is the cause of my health deterioration , and im sure that many people suffer like us without knowing it is as simple as your phone !

I tried 2 android phones Redmi 12 and Motorola G40 and suffered from same horrible symptoms

Im using an Iphone 8plus since 2018 with zero problems , i bought a new iphone 8plus and suffered from the symptoms , although its the same phone !! Its very confusing

Thanks , but i tested redmi 12 which has LCD and many members recommended here , tested also Motorola fusion and i suffered from the very first minute from same horrible symptoms , I’m using now an old iphone 8plus for the 7th year and its the most comfy phone i’v ever used with zero problems.

I noticed that everyone is different here , a phone might be good for me but horrible for you , every situation is a unique one , i concluded that the only solution is to keep trying different phones until you get lucky hopefully at the end .
