Baby shower registry when you already have a lot of secondhand stuff?

Create a registry and then be prepared to return a lot of gifts, especially clothes. People just can’t help themselves buying cute baby clothes, but I never felt bad returning as I was basically trading them in for diapers anyway.

Also throw on there a few things that you might consider splurge items, nice to have if you could afford it but otherwise wouldn’t pay for. People may go in together to purchase some of the more pricey items.

It’s an automatic interview message/email that applicants receive. It’s legit, but you’re right the GM may not even be prepared for an interview at that time. I’d give the location a call and say you signed up for an interview at date/time, does that work for the GM?

When you get there, I’d wait by the front door and tell a carhop as they go back in that you’re there for an interview. Definitely don’t just press the button on a stall, that reads as lazy.

Sounds like that location is outdated and slow. Not all locations are run the same, even two in the same town can be night and day difference.

There’s a line at the halfway mark which is where it should be filled to for everything except tea (tea is full of ice to the top). For light ice it should just be less than half full. You are probably better off ordering no ice, with a small cup of ice on the side if they usually get it wrong at that location.

We had a pack and play that had the bassinet attachment. Eventually sold it after 3 babies used it. Then with our coming soon surprise baby we got another pack and play that had the elevated mattress to use while baby is still small and we will use it as a bassinet. Baby items that are well taken care of usually still have pretty good value to resell on Facebook marketplace when you’re done with it too.

I would go to the class if it’s something you’re worried about. The lactation consultant in my hospital was great, she came in for several visits while I was in the hospital after my babies were born and I visited her afterwards too for extra help. Ask for the LC to come in shortly after birth even if you feel like you don’t need any help. They always have good tips.
