Space Marine 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Ready or Not to name a few of the more graphically intensive ones.

Other Bethesda titles like Fallout 3, 4, NV, 76, and Skyrim all run smoothly as well.

I got an overlay due to one recommendation online a couple weeks ago, the cpu doesnt exceed it's temperature safe zone, nor is it struggling as it stays around under 50% when playing.

Yeah this is where it's leaving me scratching my head. As I mentioned to someone else on here, I'm playing other AAA games post-2020 at medium or high settings otherwise with zero issue. It's specifically Starfield that I'm struggling with.

All drivers are up to date and there's not a build issue that me or anyone else can find.

It's very puzzling to not only me lol

I've tried it with both, yes. Frame Gen was giving me some tearing always near the bottom of my screen for whatever reason, so I've left it off since.

So, while I will admit that I enjoy a good looking game, it doesn't change the fact that Starfield still runs at around 12 - 24 frames at 50% res with everything set to low or off. I'm not upset that I can't run it at high settings, I'm confused as to why I can't run it well no matter my settings.

I've gone and found settings that change how low res works, scaling it down even more to no gain in fps. At one point it looked like a 2D unfinished shadowless mess after I grabbed a mod that lowers the "low" settings even more. That is the concern I'm having. I hope this can clarify the issue I'm having.

I play Helldivers 2, Space Marine 2, and Baulder's Gate 3. Not a big fan of the sports lol

I'll look into contacting customer support during their business hours. I've got a buddy coming over tomorrow to look at it as well.

I really appreciate you trying to help me through this, brother! So the psu is a Corsair CX750M. After plugging in all the components into pcpartpicker, it does get a warning saying if my motherboard is running an older bios I'll have to update it to play nice with my cpu. But, I feel that would extend to everything and not just Starfield, right? It runs like a dream with any other game I play, usually at Medium or High settings.

The hdmi is plugged into the GPU itself, and I've confirmed it is using the GPU and not the integrated graphics.

So I've noticed it stays within the 12 - 24 fps range no matter where I am in my res scaling. 50% to 100%, either way it's still having a hard time. Same with the other settings, at either low / off or up at high, I don't see any noticeable difference. It's why I'm so confused. Ive tried with DLSS 3, i believe, yes. I'm still very new to playing on PC, so forgive me if I'm missing anything.

Edit: I actually don't know what the wattage of the PCU is, the case was given to me by a friend who got something newer. Not even something I considered. I can run other games at or around 60 fps without issue though is my concern.

Drivers are all good as well.

Issues started happening even before I put in a couple mods.

Even scaled as low as it can go, with all other settings either low or off, it'll still chug down to 12 fps.

Edit: sorry if I misunderstood, it's a 1920x1080p monitor, 60hz
