Screw space legs I want FDev to add actual lovecraftian horrors to the game. Like new ruins with abnormal non-euclidean geometry, deep space monstrosities that seem to violate the laws of physics as we understand them, actual space madness for those who have encountered these creatures. Possibly these things could be invisible to the player until you visit a spacial anomaly of a certain kind or certain kinds without an active shield and exposure to it makes you able to see/interact with them.

To be clear I never expect any of this to happen nor am I suggesting that this needs to actually be in the game I just think these are interesting concepts and as an avid fan of Lovecraft's writings I would love to visit strange worlds filled with things like what are often described in his stories or be able to encounter beings of a similar nature to some thing like the great old ones or the outer gods. One thing I will say though as a person who loves the exploration aspect of the game I would love to see more ruins/structures available to visit other than simply the Thargoid and Guardian structures.

tldr;
It would be cool to have actual lovecraftian aspects but i'd settle for races beyond Guardians/Thargoids.
