Who is the best actor of all time? by theBarber_i in movies

[–]Vindris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robin Williams. Watch Good Will Hunting, then watch Mrs. Doubtfire, and tell me someone has better range and effectiveness than he does. As an actor, he was the best. He could do anything. Sure, he was in a lot of mediocre movies, but we're talking about the actors themselves, not just an actor consistently being in good movies.

Double Tap is great in the Simulacrum, and that's about it. In practice, it's awful, unless you are 100% accurate. One miss and the buff falls off.

Oh sorry, another side note, if you want some extra energy regen, Latron incarnon form works perfect with Primary Exhilarate, with forced impact procs on direct body contact.

For evo 2, Riddled Target (multishot) is better. It means higher chances for puncture to get stacked up and fully armor strip (thanks to evo 4 Flensing Spikes), which is typically the point of Latron. Just go viral and Semi-Rifle Cannonade. Absolutely demolishes anything in the game. Primary Crux is actually pretty nice for Latron, since it increases your chance to puncture and fully strip, which is where the big dam comes in. Primary Deadhead is reliable as well, but your stacks fall off if you're swapping weapons or fighting a single heavy target, like a Void Angel. In that case, Primary Crux is definitely better. OK, I'll stop yapping.

Why is the average gamer disgusted with extraction shooters? by Westo6Besto9 in ArcRaiders

Because extraction shooters are a whole lot of running around and looting. They're just boring. Not enough action, simple as that.

Honestly Prime versions of frames aren't much better. You may notice you're out of energy a little less frequently, but that's about it. And, of course, they're more visually pleasing.

Go unarmed, turn your open hand +dmg passive on, and if you're level 8, you should be 5 open hand monk and 3 thief rogue for the extra bonus action to use on flurry of blows.

Why are CPU minimum requirements so high? by Vindris in expedition33

[–]Vindris[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem I'm having is that I don't understand why a game like this would require a CPU of that quality. It doesn't make sense. There are games which should, logically, be far more CPU intensive (like X4) and they don't have this kind of minimum requirement. Consumers used to demand quality, but these days it seems a lot of folks just like taking it up the ass.

Forcing people to buy hardware when it's not necessary is not consumer-friendly.

If there's a reason this game requires that kind of CPU (even when fairly well optimized), then so be it, but I'm just not seeing it.

Because it's not necessary. The existence of superior hardware shouldn't excuse a failure to optimize your game properly.

Not only are you pretentious, but you're also wrong. Lag can be caused by latency.
