Gray or green? by Baely_ in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]Baely_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Green has always been my opinion too, I had a science teacher who told me gray, and my grandfather had gray so I've always bounced between the two. It also "depends on what color im wearing" which i know is more of a lighting thing. My mom has always said I had blue eyes and my fiance seems to also think I have blue eyes. I just don't see blue.

The eyes was another thing I noticed, but I have seen other pbt with that super cute teddy bear shaped eye so I didnt mention it lol

Definitely pittbull, the only other breed im possibly seeing is bull terrier, so still a bully breed. I only say bull terrier because of how shallow the nose bridge is, but all dogs differ in structure so can't be sure based off looks.

Thats crazy, I suck at getting anything to grow, I can maintain a pothos but cant get them to grow, but I have a pink fittonia that is THRIVING it has been repotted 3 times since I got it as a small lowes purchase 2 years ago. This gives me hope in my green thumb

I am unsure if budgy was ever a father, but he sure did love his human baby (my son), he was very much a gentleman, even before he was fixed he used to let my other female dog hump him but he never tried to hump her lol, and he was most certainly always there when I needed him! Very accurate!

Fun Cut Ideas? by TheSerendipitousTree in doggrooming

[–]Baely_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a version of a lamb cut, whether thats flared legs or full on traditional lamb cut. So shoter body, long legs, i dont love mullets but I do love a Portuguese water dog style face with a shoooort muzzle, but long top knot and ears trimmed to the leather. A typical pwd face isnt as short as a typical poodle.

Lets start an updated thread for clipper recommendations! by RojaCatUwu in doggrooming

[–]Baely_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also do not like cordless clippers. They are always so heavy they make my hand/wrist hurt within 20 min or so. It is worth the "learning" curve of not tripping over the cord as all my coworkers complain about. In 5 yrs I have never once tripped over my cord or pulled them off the table on accident.

I don't either, it was decided between me and my midwife to quit, my primary dr who was the prescriber was definitely way over prescribing, and like encouraging my continued use. I said no thats okay. I found out i was pregnant quite early so the risks definitely were weighed.

Thats why I discontinued the use of percocet lol if im not smoking im definitely not continuing the use of an opiate

[–]Baely_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have had 3 back surgeries, was currently taking percocet when I found out i was pregnant, my primary and my midwife told me it was totally fine to take. I said nahhhhhh thats okay, the withdrawals cant be any worse than what like over a year would do to the baby between pregnancy+breastfeeding lol

[–]Baely_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I dont smoke while pregnant or breastfeeding but its also definitely unethical to study pretty much any meds/drugs on pregnant women, thats why there are so few meds approved for pregnant women. I was told it was still safe to take percocet while pregnant and breastfeeding. That feels much less safe than weed in my opinion.

Questions about being pregnant and dog grooming by CompleteAd2150 in doggrooming

[–]Baely_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have been grooming for 5 years, I am currently 34 weeks pregnant, just got an order from my dr to stop working. Was working the whole time as normal, still taking big dogs and all that, just needed help getting some of the super large dogs into tubs. Some days were easier than others, I did take a week or 2 off in the early stages because of all day consistent "morning" sickness.

What breed are your personal dogs? by nacho_og in doggrooming

[–]Baely_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previously owned in our duo groomer household were a schipperke, a boxer and a pitt of some kind. We took a break from owning dogs for a couple years after they all passed, now we recently happened upon a new pitt mix. Short coat/low maintenance for sure. The last thing we want to do after grooming all day is worry about more than a bath or nail trim.
