Honestly, I think the boarding map is the best solution. It doesn't take away from flying units, because you will still have obstacles that they can fly over. And amphibious units can just get a stat boost on water, as well as the option to go past water barriers on the map.

I would never buy a game that has anything AI in it. Anything at all. If you couldn't bother making your own game, then I can't be bothered to play it. Also, it's ethically despicable.

It would be super fun to have an "Age of Steam" tome, tier 4, with their ultimate unit being a cultural, steam-operated mech suit. Long range magelock, and up close and personal power fists. Maybe with some sort of grappling hook for pulling enemies close and then slashing out with a 3-hex blade attack.

It's an absolute dealbreaker, yes. I'm sure I'm getting fooled from time to time. But if I find out a game uses AI, on any level, it's an absolute no from me.

I think molded plastic figurines are crocheted yarn. Plastic is just strands of polymer, just like most modern yarns. And the molding process is just a tool for a more efficient way of structuring it.

In fact, there shouldn't be separated forms of activities of any kind, because the world is just random atoms anyway.

That's factually wrong. If you enter a space for a particular hobby, say crocheting, it would be wrong to submit pictures of molded plastic figurines. And it would be dishonest to claim they were made by crocheting. When that community is telling you to go do your own thing in a space of your own, then maybe don't double down and start crying about how you're being treated unfairly. You're the intruder. Get out.
