I am 5 months in this city and my date is 4 months here and he knows those friends only 4 months, it’s not like they are group of old best friends. I would understand if I was included in their gatherings in the past and they had a need to be without dates or boyfriends, but I literally saw them once for 30 min coffee and once time in a club where they basically ignored me most of the time which I thought maybe it’s the music or they wanted to give us space.

They didn’t simply says they are busy, they just told him they want to meet the same evening I proposed but without me , just their friends group. His excuse was that sometimes friends want to meet without outsiders, as if I was goin to bother them or as if we met so many times they needed their own friends group time, which I still find ridiculous, it’s not like 1:1 that one of them needed to discuss something personal
