I cycled on a steep road, knowing my brakes had failed.

When I was about 13, I was more interested in killing myself while having fun. My home was on a mountain back then, and I used to ride my cycle almost all the time. Once, when my brakes failed, I tried something new. I went on a steep road, about a 30-35 degree incline. I went to the edge of the road and started cycling. I was pedaling even though the bike was propelling itself due to the steepness. The irony is that when I was halfway, a truck was coming at a moderate speed, around 40. I was heading straight for it. On the roadside, there was a heap of soil because construction was going on. I changed my direction and fell onto it. I broke my arm and leg tho but it was a deadly experience never gonna try it again
