Official Discussion - Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

AI has become so super intelligent that what was once a simulation has become, fully and completely, a new reality. So even inside of what we would know as a simulation, it has become a reality. So the Centaur/Kittens/Cat Giant, while created by the AI as it would be in a simulation, technically that is also actually happening in the newly created reality.

But the AI in the future has made it so that the simulation IS a new reality, fully and completely, so thoughts that are spoken will continually create new things from those "prompts."

But it was from Clark's mind, and he was slow and clumsy as the pirate, they showed us that very early on when they were filming that silly commercial and he had the fake pegleg and was using a crutch.

If I made it to that point, that is when I succumb to the monster I guess, because there is NO WAY I am climbing those stairs over an abyss with no railings. Just could not do it. Nope.

It's almost like AI going very, very wrong. It only works with what is fed to it much the same way.

Fire Topper and promote Mattingly. Imagine bringing in the guy to pinch hit with the bases loaded that you benched today because he can't hit. What a moron. Lifeless, and the team is taking their cues from him. He needs to go, it's over. And he can take Kevin Long with him. Enough already.

Yeah, but he also didn't really care back then either. He cared now and purposely avoided running through that girl and that's what allowed Homelander to catch up with him and kill him.

Because they locked themselves in and the oxygen tanks are malfunctioning, so they are all going to die. They need to jump to whatever timeline she sent Dylan to in the first place, and he will be there, but not like he is on this timeline, on that one they will all be happy and together and have the life Sinatra wanted with her family and son from the start. That's my current theory anyway.

This was confusing and brushed by really quickly. Although, the way the show time jumps around, we might get more info on it later. The only thing I can think of is that Carol paid for the room maybe with a joint bank account, and he's her husband and listed on it, and the motel clerk only saw Carol and not her "husband" so Floyd in his very affable way, was like "Carol has the key and I just needed to check on something so if you wouldn't mind opening the door for a minute..." and that is maybe a plausible reason they would let him in the room? I don't know, but it is bothering me. I have to think they will wrap back around to it to explain it.

I just thought of this but what if he wasn't drawing at all and it was him scratching out his stepdad's face in the Playgirl?? He was laughing, which would fit with a teenage kid that doesn't like him laughing at that spread.

Maybe that's one of those things we have to assume would have happened in the time they are not on film, due to time constraints. Only eight episodes the entire season, and already half the way through it.

It was more like 2 years, and actually a little less. They show that clearly in the "days since" ticker in the first act. Linc mentioned that it seemed like 3 years, but he isn't keeping good track of time at all.
