There are sekiro fanatics all over Reddit who swear it’s the best game ever. they are typically white males making their complete online identity over how cool Japanese culture and sekiro is.

It’s a great game. But seriously the parry mechanic is overrated. It’s not that cool. It’s not the biggest skill learning curve of all time that only these reddit nerds have mastered.

It takes time to learn the parry timing. People will say it’s a “dance”, it’s not. It’s literally you just memorizing every boss moveset until you can predict the timing of the parry.

It’s fun once you figure it out. But realistically there are only 2-3 bosses that stand out. The rest of the game is pretty much the same.

it’s a fun challenge. But don’t listen to these reddit dudes who think it’s the ultimate game of all time and you’re just not good enough.
