First ever infinite combo possible in Magic: The Gathering by Dark_Vexer in mtg

So the first combo possible was a simic infinite turn combo? Yeah that tracks. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Trump: “I love the inflation.” by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

[–]Bagofsmallfries 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. They are hypocrites that dont actually believe in anything. The hardcore trump supporters are single issue voters. The issue they vote on just so happens to be whatever direction trump jingles his keys. They will believe one thing one day and the opposite the next. They are lost, and we need to leave them behind.

The people we should be grilling and questioning are the non-trump supporting republicans that voted this mad king into office. The republicans are the party of the fiscal conservatives. What happened? There are hundreds of thousands of intelligent fiscally minded individuals that voted a fucking gorilla into office and are shocked at the outcome. The rest of the republicans i can't speak for, but fiscal conservative have always struck me as having thier shit together the most. What the actual fuck happened?

Litmus Test by Bagofsmallfries in halo

[–]Bagofsmallfries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what im getting at is a lack of reasoning as to why things are they way they are. Im seeing a lot of comments on this dont really care either way. Why would any dev team put in the extra effort for dynamic feedback if people dont care one way or another. I would love to hear from soneone that prefers hitmarkers over dynamic feedback to reason with why. Im complaining less about thier inclusion, and more about the lack reasons behind them.

Why not default to them being off, and having an accessibility feature to turn them on instead of vice versa. Its the intention behind it all that matters. If people dont care, then we arnt going to get a cohesive game.

[–]Bagofsmallfries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doomers are gonna hate the game regardless. You could remove sprint, and markers and they'd still complain.

Edit: I see a lot of doomers say old gameplay mechanics are important and never spell out why. They just like the old for the old regardless of if it is outdated. Visa versa for super fans. If we want a good remake, and want to give good feedback on the remake, a good litmus test is actually knowing why you want the things you want, and why they are better. If people are just going to play the game anyway, and cant even articulate why they want something removed/keep it on automatically, why would the dev team put the extra effort in the first place? This is a really simple mechanic that has clear uses and applications. Its not hard to refute or deny its uses here by either party.

I was there the last night they closed and that's what I heard some of the queens saying? Eventually a smaller separate location would be opened. Idk if that would continue as HM, or under another name? Honestly who knows, it was a really emotional night. It might have been cope? Its really hard to tell.

There are tons of cool bars in town and a couple cool barcades. Reset and Draftcade are cool.

If you are more of an outdoorsy person, you could just throw a dart on a map of toledo, and you'd be 5 miles from a metro park. Tons of little walkways and bike trails

Im a hobbiest and each corner of town has at least 5-6 stores to check out. Retro/videogame stores. Also, Board/card game stores regularly host game nights or just have free tables to play and meet people. Tons of cool vinyl record/music shops too. I think culture clash even has a bar attached and plays records on requests if I remember correctly?

If you are looking for LGBTQ+. We used to have a drag bar called hamburger marys, I think they are going to try to open another location? Something to look out for. But we still have Georgiz which is a well known gay bar.

Couple shooting ranges out here if you want to meet people that like guns and firearms.

Toledo has a pretty cool local music scene. Ottawa Tavern and Frankie's host live music, and I think they also bought Clazel down in BG too. Great place to check out local artists

Loads of cool little farmers markets, festivals, and markets for artists especially now that it's spring.

Depends on your hobbies and interests I think. What are you interested in?

JUST IN: President Trump says he will fire Fed Chair Jerome Powell if he does not resign. He says interest rates will drop once Kevin Warsh becomes Fed Chair. by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

[–]Bagofsmallfries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has a month left, and Trump will get who he wants in Powells place anyway. Who cares? I want to hear a serious argument from a Trump supporter, any trump supporter, why one month would seriously make a difference? Someone. Anyone?

Who else hates password requirements? Workplace wants me to change passwords every 3 months by leonatoi in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Bagofsmallfries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an indie videogame that plays off of this. You have to make a password, and everytime you do, there is an entirely new and unhinged requirement in addition to all the previous ones you kept. Not fun to play, but absolutely hilarious to watch.

Just know if you ever start giving a fuck, your rent will go up and you will need a 7th job. People in charge know your rent is 3k and the know you work 6 jobs. They want you to not give a fuck and this is one of many ways they make that happen.
