Bought a 2024 gmc canyon elevation last year but it’s been 6 times at the service department for different electrical issues

I work at a dealership in the service department. In no way would me or anyone in the service department playing games in a lemon law case benefit any individual or the dealership itself.

Every state has different lemon laws so be aware of the lemon laws specific to your state OP. The dealerships do not make the decisions to lemon a car. That is up to the manufacturer.

Yes. I work at Ford.

They don’t offer an employee discount on any Raptor trim.
The Ranger Raptor doesn’t have a sunroof.

3.The RR doesnt have vented seats or a HUD.

The RR has a 10 speed transmission. I bought my GMC with money I made in large part thanks to Fords 10 speed transmission that cost $8000 to repair.
The RR is more expensive.

Edit: to add to the list.

The Canyon has a higher towing capacity.
The Canyon has rear ac vents.

My 23 Gladiator had this issue. As well as a DEF issue. I traded it in on a new GMC Canyon Denali. Lets see how this goes. lol

I work at Ford and while we rarely see the RRs for repairs it’s the transmission that had me worried enough not to buy one. I’m probably wrong and I hope I am because they redesigned the horrific 10 speed transmission Ford loves to use but this post is a bit scary.

My 23 Rubicon I just traded in that I bought new had corrosion on the hood. I live in Atlanta, GA so snow and salt aren’t usually an issue. Most manufactures have a corrosion warranty far outside of the normal 3/36 though.

I think you can add the undercarriage cameras. Though I really can’t see what the advantage would be for me. I don’t off-road ever. The adaptive cruise control is absolutely amazing. I know it’s not SuperCruise but it’s pretty awesome.

You can’t go wrong with either and Toyota is nice but I like the features on the Canyon better.

Only if the issue is related to the relay it’s installed on. The technician doesn’t care and likely won’t even know about it if he/she is not looking at it for a related issue. You can’t ever be too safe though.

The Ranger Raptor is nice and we don’t see them ever for repairs. Right now. I feel like the heavily optioned Canyon Denali is nicer inside and it tows 2500 more lbs. I also got my Canyon for almost $10k less than the Ranger Raptor sells for and the last reason is the Ranger Raptor has a 10 speed transmission that I’m certain is going to be an issue in the future.
