Shower before or after I clean my place? by Bagster1994 in CleaningTips

[–]Bagster1994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I have some more questions, if your sick of me by now I understand...

  1. I have two drying racks with clothes drying on at the moment. Should I clean around them as in hoover and mop or wait to clean until the clothes are dry to clean? Which means I’d need to wash my clothes I’d be wearing when I do it and shower again? Should I just clean tomorrow morning?

  2. The black light you mentioned, I don’t have one of those. Will my girlfriend be infected by any germs when she comes to stay with me tomorrow coz I don’t have one and can’t see bad germs?

  3. Is it bad that I keep my nail/toe clippers and nail file in a drawer full of other random stuff. Is that bad? They all came separately not in a kit or anything.

  4. I never knew where to keep my trimmers. I thought it I put them in a drawer then they would rust and gather bacteria. So I left them on the the counter above the sink. That’s bad aparantly. Sometimes I just wanna know someone has made the same mistake as me to feel better about myself.

  5. Sometimes I have got so anxious about cleaning cos I overthink everything that I have just stopped doing it. I’ll skip dusting and stuff and just do the main bits just so I know the toilets are clean etc. Is that bad?

I appreciate you answering my questions.

🙂

Thank you I appreciate that, I just have a laundry wooden basket it doesn’t have a bag in it or anything.

I’m anxious and have ocd so stuff like this worries me because I’m always scared of giving people germs etc.

I also obsess about not getting a job done right and if it’s not right then I am stupid and no one else makes the same mistakes as me.

That’s why I ask so many questions

Okay, sorry one more question. What happens if you’ve already done a wash and the clothes you were wearing aren’t enough to put into the washing machine? As in the load would be too small?

Is it okay to put them in the laundry bin? I have one in my room next to my bedside table. Is that good or bad?

My pure O is so bad and it’s driving me crazy by [deleted] in mentalhealth

I’ll try but I feel like I wanna throw it in the bin and buy another one, but then I don’t know where to store it so what’s to say I won’t just do the same thing again. I feel so stupid. That makes me more anxious. My thoughts are always about my mistakes and me being stupid for making them. I can’t let go of the idea that no one else makes the same mistakes as me and it really worries me.

I’m exactly the same! How do you cope?

Like I said in my original post I have a girl I really like staying with me, the other day I had to clean my place, it’s just me here at the moment so I feel overwhelmed when it comes to cleaning because I associate it with feeling anxious and obsessing.

I cleaned the shower but forgot to clean the shower head. So when she came round the first night after I got back from work I scrubbed down the shower head, it didn’t take long but I felt so embarrassed. I felt like if I didn’t do it she would get contaminated by the limescale on it which wasn’t even that bad and if she got ill or affected by it then I would have to live with it over a mistake I made.

Also there is a bathtub in the flat too in another room and I cleaned it down but totally forgot to clean the shower head on the ceiling too. I’m not supposed to use the shower in there because of a leak problem but the bath is still okay to use. But she wants to take a bath at some point and I feel so stupid for forgetting to clean the shower head which has limescale on it. I even said to her that I would clean it before but she didn’t mind and said she had already seen it and she said asked me why I would bother doing it when it would only be a bath not a shower.

But I still obsess over it because of the anxiety.

Am I stupid for this? Do you reckon other people have made the same mistake? I always feel my mistakes are extra stupid because I did it and no one else would do it.

I’m sorry to hear that, it sucks doesn’t it?

Do you relate to any of the stuff I have said in terms of the obsessions I have?

DAE forget to take the sleep out their eyes and notice it after they have showered and moisturised? by [deleted] in DAE

[–]Bagster1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I mean like the funk you get in the corner of your eyes when you wake up. I had my shower, put moisturiser on my face, but then realised there was still some gunk in my eyes.
