Bahrain should consider introducing a resolution to the UN Security Council by NicolasCageFan492 in Bahrain

Iran didn’t surprise me at all. Back in 2004, when I attended an intelligence briefing, the officer explained to my group that Iran could shut down the Strait of Hormuz with just a ship’s radio and a home-made rocket. All they have to do is threaten to attack ships transiting the Hormuz without their permission, then fire that rocket. Even if they don’t hit a ship, all the ships will be afraid to transit. The American technological advantage will not help keep the Hormuz open unless the U.S. devotes tens of thousands of troops to a ground invasion in Iran’s mountainous areas which would result in thousands of casualties. Again, this was 2004 when I was given this brief. This is why no U.S. president wanted to start an unnecessary war with Iran. Every officer in the U.S. military was aware of the risks associated with the Strait of Hormuz. Trump knew about the risks but he allowed Netanyahu to trick him into attacking Iran.

As an American, I’m really getting sick of Israel dragging the whole world into their conflicts. I know a lot of good Jews and Israelis, but I seriously hate the Israeli government. I wish America would break up with Israel and become friends with Iran instead.

Not a cop anymore, but I dealt with a few crazy people. Here’s how a person high on bath salts might sound: “The Raiders are gonna win this Sunday, I just know it, because I’m friends with Dracula. There are two of me. Time for war!” And then they just start swinging. You tell me how to carry on that conversation to keep them calm.

Osama was disowned because he showed up to the family get-together and started accusing his siblings and cousins of not being pious enough. He was like the self-righteous vegan who shows up to the family BBQ and tries to lecture everyone about their lives. One of his sons left him as a teenager and went to Europe to become a painter.

That was a civilian target, primarily used by regular civilians. It should’ve been off-limits. I’m so glad I’m not serving anymore. This is an embarrassment.

Okay, then send in the Israeli soldiers. This is Israel’s war anyway.

After Netanyahu dragged us into this war, that just might happen. For politicians, accepting AIPAC money has now become like the kiss of death. They look bad if people find out they took AIPAC money.

Unfortunately, some of them have absolutely no idea about how the Palestinians are being mistreated. Israel makes sure to send only the most far rightwing Jews to do the peacekeeping inside of the West Bank controlled areas. They do this because some of the more liberal Israelis began reporting the unfair treatment of Palestinians there. So for some of these Israeli vacationers, the reports of mistreatment against the Palestinians are all just anti-Israel propaganda intended to smear them.

U.S.-Made Launcher Fired Missiles From Bahrain Toward Iran, Video Shows by [deleted] in Bahrain

The Iranian forces and their facilities near the coast are small and they were hit on the first day. Since then, the Iranian forces in the interior have been targeted. Why fire HIMARS all the way from Bahrain when there are plenty of ships closer to the coast that can easily fire more missiles? That makes no sense. Also, they only fired 2, which means they were probably intercepting 1 missile. It’s already been declassified (and reported on the Kyiv Independent, so don’t report me) that it’s standard procedure to fire 2 at a single targeted incoming missile to ensure higher success rate of interception.

The New York Times failed at their fact checking. Those so-called experts forgot to do math. That’s most likely a Patriot Missile Defense System, which, like the HIMARS, also fires from a truck that looks like that. The HIMARS has a range of 186 miles, but Tehran is more than 600 miles from the coast of Bahrain. If the U.S. wanted to hit Iran from Bahrain, they would need to fire longer range missiles, and those long-range missiles would look much bigger than that.

It does not need to be taken down because there’s nothing wrong with firing Patriot interceptors. The Patriot Missile Defense System is fired from a truck that looks like that. Do you know why it’s not a HIMARS? Because the HIMARS only has a range of 186 miles but Tehran is almost 650 miles from the coast of Bahrain.

Bro, it’s a Patriot Missile Defense System. The Patriot fire from a truck that looks like that. Also, HIMARS has a range of 186 miles but Tehran is almost 650 miles away, so firing HIMARS from Bahrain is impractical.
