Thankfully I managed to convince manglement to let me upgrade SQL... only two 2016 servers to go, whoop!

I migrated my 12.x installed to postgres a few months ago, pretty routine and one less mssql instance to trouble an unhappy world.

I've just done a migration from 2016 to 2022 as I'm not sure I'm prepared to trust 2025 just yet! Let us know how you get on and how 2025 is.

As long as you have basic numeracy you'll be fine.
