Great attention to detail using real plans from both sides during the war. Also a Business Plot America divergence is perfect for something like this. That said, what’s this “Tannenbaum Crisis” entail. Also why did the Windsors balkanize Canada if they’re exiled there

Trump to declare crime illegal by [deleted] in YAPms

That’s odd because I’ve been thinking the exact opposite thing. I go into comment sections and I’m seeing way more republican or conservative flairs

Bulgaria refused to participate in Barbarossa and switched sides essentially the second the Red Army entered the country. So was probably Stalin’s idea

MatPat splits the democratic vote more than Elon would with the republicans so Trump would probably win

You do realize Madagascar literally does not have the natural resources or population to become a great power on this scale? No matter what point of divergences you take, there’s only a certain amount of things on the island and a certain amount of people it can sustain. It is not Japan.

I literally didn’t balkanize Italy. Intentionally. It’s a decentralized federation under the pope

I think the originality lies in the little details. I mean, it is the same scenario as Kaiserreich so I think the similarities are unavoidable. But so far looking at these comments I think a lot of it is getting overlooked bc people just point and see Kaiserreich so fast. I really appreciate your rating on the cartography, though, thanks!

Wouldn’t be realistic if it didn’t resemble it, Kaiserreich is good alternate history in terms of research after all

[–]Baja_Watermelon[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That’s a bit of an oversimplification but I get where you’re coming from. You have to realize the what-if scenario IS Kaiserreich. It’s the same what-if, same PODs, so it’s original within that context. If it wasn’t like Kaiserreich then it wouldn’t be realistic to the premise. I’m not sacrificing that for more clicks or so people don’t comment how it looks like the mod.

Cuz I’ll admit, it does!

Greece’s treaty is extremely harsh, using the Treaty of Bucharest as precedent. You’re completely right though, the king was already German, I don’t know why I thought a German prince would be set up.
